Are there specific website, books, etc that you use. I have read so much my head is swimming. I'd like a book/website that I can refer to on a consistent basis. I have a feeling I could make this way more complicated than it has to be.

The other group most of us are in had a great stickied reference post, including Keto links (it covers all types of LCHF)...

I'd recommend starting there for good resources. I don't know what else you might be looking for...but reading any of the posts from the last couple months has lots of good info too.0 -
I highly recommend this book written by two doctors:

I often go back and re-read or look for specific sections/topics to refresh my memory.0 -
Hello
My name is Ben. I've been keto dieting for about five weeks now and recording diet on MFP for about a week now. I've been successful kicking my carb cravings, controlling my binge eating and so joyful to wake up with <100 blood sugar without taking metformin(type 2 diabetes medicine)--a year ago I would wake up with 240+ blood sugar while on the meds. Now that I'm "keto-adapted" I feel normal with lots of energy--like I'm on a constant 5hour energy drink without actually drinking it. I first stumbled upon this type of diet looking for solutions for my binge eating on bodybuilding.com. Here is the link to the article:

I have also found this link really helpful as well

I hope this helps your search for websites
Sincerely
Ben
