Weight gain slowed down a bit lately, not exactly sure why. I wasn't expecting this especially since I stopped my high intensity exercise and heavy lifting and have just been doing low intensity stuff. I have been eating at or over my calorie goal every day which means around 2300-2500 calories. I didn't think I would need more than this but maybe I do now? I'm going to see how the next week goes and then see if I need to up the calorie count.0 -

This is my 9th pregnancy & I think the Ieast I have gained to this point is 40 lbs. in any pregnancy. Hoping to beat that record.0 -

I'm officially full term!! I'm cutting it close as I'm only "allowed" to hit 202 lbs. I'm feeling fantastic with the gain though since in my last pregnancy I started at 163 and ended up at 213. I look and feel so much healthier this time around and I'm kinda kicking myself for not being more accountable before. It's really not that hard (okay, it's really hard around the 20-25 week stretch )

My weight gain has stalled the past month. The baby is growing rapidly, which is fabulous, but my body is loosing some inches, which is not fabulous. I've been much more sedentary lately, partly due to serious SI joint pain and partly due to extreme fatigue. I just found out this week my fatigue is due to significant iron deficiency anemia (my hgb dropped form 130-90) so I started taking FeraMAX and already I feel better, but still have rapid heart rate with increased exertion so I'm keeping the cardio low key these days. Trying to increase the fat content of my food, so adding things like 5% cream to scrambled eggs and being very lax with the desserts, I just still get nauseous from eating sweet food. I really thought I'd have a bigger gain this week, especially after Canadian Thanksgiving. I realize that this is kind of the opposite side of weight gain issues, but I'm starting to worry a bit about it because I'm scared it's going to compromise my ability to breast feed if I don't gain enough weight on me, not just baby's size. The doctor doesn't seem to care as long as the baby is getting bigger and appropriate size for age.0 -

I made some changes to my diet plan starting this weekend... uped my calorie count, switched from low fat versions of food to full fat, ate a lot of junk food (but that was mainly due to halloween). I'm hoping that I start gaining about 1 lb per week for the remainder of my pregnancy.0 -

I am 25 weeks right now and started at 174 lbs. I'm up 9 lbs to 183 lbs and haven't been doing the best in the eating category. So I'm not quite sure why I haven't gained more. Due to my high blood pressure I'm going to be cutting my exercise back to cardio Mon/Wed/Fri and weight lifting Tue/Thu. I'm shooting to not gain more than 20 lbs this pregnancy due to the fact that I started 30 lbs overweight!0

My weight gain has started to pick up, gaining about 2 oz a day now. Only 5 weeks left. I predict I will be about 135 lb at time of delivery, but who knows maybe I will have massive fluid gains or something in the last few weeks. I can see that happening considering I am becoming much more sedentary in these final weeks. Moving is just tiring and uncomfortable.0 -

Marie, you must be due just a couple of weeks before me! I am due in the first week of June.
I am just over 14 weeks now. I gained half a pound this week (busy week with lots of Christmas lunches and parties) but I am still below my starting weight.
In my previous three pregnancies I have always gained 3-5 kg by this point and started gaining quite steadily and rapidly from here on. I am hoping to curb this this time! My mentality has changed as before I was told to aim to gain weight, whereas having been told to maintain or gain little now I am keeping a closer eye on what I eat.0 -
