Hey mamas! So 2 weeks PP today and these past 2 weeks my nutrition has not been great:( Been nice to not have to cook due to family and friends helping, but I have given in to goodies more often than I'd like to admit! I have been tracking, but going over almost daily. But new month, new goals and I am getting back on track today!! Here's my stats so far and will update every Monday.

Some Halloween festivities (and a few pieces of candy stolen from my kids' loot bags) made the scale go in the wrong direction this week. Ah well... Two steps forward, one step back . I was hoping to break 160 this week, but I'm thinking it will happen in the next week or two! Great job ladies! Everyone is doing so good checking in regularly. It's nice to see everyone's progress!

Happy Saturday ladies! I didn't post last week because I was a little put off by the gain but not really surprised because lets be honest-I knew I was eating crap and drank too much beer. This past Tuesday I started the keto diet and am learning how it works. I just want to continue the downward pattern, not necessarily lose it all in a couple of weeks. I guess my big focus in the next couple of weeks is to get down to 147 and after that I'll try to get into the 130's. So far keto has been great and is helping me with my snacking problem!
This week I'm going to try to get in 12000 steps every day and keep doing the keto thing. I don't know about anyone else but I am SO excited for the holidays! Hopefully I will be out of my maternity clothes when thanksgiving rolls around0 -
Really cleaned up my diet this week, except for one day with a few slip ups and down 3 lbs. Felt good to see the 160s although I'm still really far from the 130s! Slowly but surely.

Up a little this week and rightfully so. My eating has been off the last few days and it's been raining here, so no walks with little man:( I guess this is the point where it stops just coming off and hard work comes into play! Hi everyone! Just had my first baby on 11/8 at 8:11pm (we appreciated that coincidence!) and have been at least tracking my weight since then. I'm still recovering (had a lot of tearing and sutures and they said I lost more blood than normal vaginal births) so I'm not being too strict with my diet/exercise currently even though I'm tracking MOST of what I eat again. Weather has been icky but I do wanna try to start going on more walks with the little one.

fell off the wagon hard this week and didn't exercise, ate terribly and I didn't even track for a few days which isn't like me. I am definitely an emotional/stress eater and the past week and a half has hit my trigger. I'd like to get back on track this week so will do my best!

This is my second baby and this time around I'm proud to say that I stuck to my initial goal of gaining 15-25 lbs throughout my entire pregnancy. Baby boy was born on October 22 at 7lbs11oz. I've got just over 6 lbs to go until I get to my prepregnancy weight, but I had gained considerably more with my first pregnancy; and so my goal after losing these 6 lbs is to reach my prepregnancy weight from before having my daughter - another 15.3 lbs to go.
Prepregnancy weight: 177.8

I was down to 181.2, but I went out for Chinese buffet and retained a fair bit of water from that....

No loss but no gain either . Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. Will be curious to see how much I gain over the weekend, lol. We're having a turkey dinner at home on Thursday, then going to my SILs house for another turkey dinner on Saturday. My plan is to stick to mostly low carb foods for the dinners (with a small portion of stuffing- I only get it once a year or so) and to limit my dessert to one small portion of something that I really like. I didn't really do much better this week. I am a mess - my husband and I are both starting new jobs in January so we just listed our house and the market is SO soft where we live. I have been packing and cleaning like crazy. We are both excited to be moving closer to family and starting new positions but the thought of our house not selling is stressful! Please send us good house selling vibes!!! I haven't been focused the past couple of weeks but have appreciated being able to check in and am trying to be somewhat accountable by weighing in. Seems my turkey day strategy paid off. I was able to enjoy a couple of dinners, compete with dessert, without doing too much "damage". Heck two tenths of a pound is really nothing more than a fluctuation . Now I get to be back to normal eating patterns for a few weeks, at least until the whole Christmas/New Years celebrations. Started exercising again this week 30 min per day and ran a 5K on Thanksgiving. Feel good about being able to enjoy all my favorite goodies on Thanksgiving, as well as a few other family and friends gatherings without going overboard. Down 1.2 pounds this week. Going to really buckle down the next few weeks before the next round of holidays:) @tlflag1620 that's great! Our numbers are very similar, I hope to see a downward trend like you. @katiebrew hang in there! We moved states and started new jobs last year too and it can really be stressful! I just made it out of the 200's today!
Weight at birth was 245
Two weeks pp 220 and stayed there until 12 weeks postpartum when I began diet and exercise changes. Now at 24 weeks postpartum I'm at 199! I've been consistently losing around 1.5 lbs a week since I started the end of September (after an initial giant dump that usually comes with new weightloss plans)0 -

Met my water and workout goal but had a few days where I went way over with food. I'm getting frustrated with gaining and losing the same few pounds but at least I am still below my pre-preg weight. I am still 10 lbs away from my pre-preg weight with my first and 20 lbs from where I'd like to be. I might take a break from the weekly weigh ins for a while and continue to do what I'm doing - logging, drinking water and trying to be active. I have a lot coming up on my plate (Moving next week with a house still for sale, starting a new job with a long commute, and living in my in-laws basemen for the foreseeable future). I might just check in goal wise each week - I'm just getting too frustrated and let down when I see that number on the scale. It's absolutely silly how much it affects my mood yet doesn't seem to affect my eating habits - if anything, I tend to think I can throw in the towel. I need to get my head in a better spot I think.

A little bummed I had a slight gain considering I have been exercising daily for the past 2 weeks, but I'm not surprised because I have had more "cheats" than I'd like to admit. Trying not to weigh as often and just focus on how I feel. Hope everyone else is doing well this holiday season. Can't wait to kick into high gear after the new year!0
