Well...all done for the night...going to go get into bed and watch tv so I do not go back into the kitchen. Stuck to the plan exactly.
See you tomorrow, day five!0 -
Ready, your tip on collard greens...must admit, I've never even had any.

l veggie patty with lettuce tomato onion, mozza stick
s olives, sweet bell pepper strips hummus
d grilled salmon, steamed sugar snap peas and carrots
d yogurt, almonds, nsa jam0 -
Took a peek at the scale...not losing much, but cravings and my jasmine rice desire has weakened. So, it is working as far as losing cravings.
I know for me, upping exercise is going to be key and really watching desserts. Goal of 130 seems eons away...I started out at 144 on Sunday.0 -

Tonight's going to be a challenge: we are going to Cheesecake Factory. I won't have cheesecake of course but with such a huge menu I'll have to strategize. Lunch is salmon sashimi. Two meals out in one day. Ouch0
-
Today's menu:
scrambled eggs with salsa, v8, coffee
some kind of snack...veggies and hummus maybe
grilled salmon, herb salad with newman's light italian
olives, sugar snap peas
spaghetti squash* with extra lean beef/nsa marinara/mushrooms/onions...holy cow this turned out amazing...topped with freshly grated parm/regg
hc fudge bar Peanut Butter
Making SB breakfast quiche today...just got back from the store ...got all the supplies. Not losing but my true objective during this reboot was to get rid of cravings...so I am happy...I think I have lost 2 pounds.
*the key to the spaghetti squash is not to cook to turn it into mush...it needs a slight crunch to it...I have the sauce separated from the squash...so I put it together before heating and serving...and of course, topping with freshly grated parm/reggiano is key to making a tummy happy

So, ill probably be staying on this a bit longer. Wednesday the husband and I had to go downtown into the city *shudders*, I hate the city. Anyway, on our way back, we were getting sick from hunger. Forgot snacks. Oops. So we stopped at an Asian supermarket we love and got fresh goi cuon spring rolls (not really unhealthy, but definitely sb phase 1 friendly) and a healthier version of a bahn mi sandwich (definitely not sb friendly, but mostly healthy filling lol). We had karate that evening and planned tacos after we got home. Usually I just have a big taco salad, sometimes sans meat. Well, I couldn't resist and divulged in tacos with tortillas (at least I used low carb, whole wheat ones). I had 2 or 3, but sans meat. Then things were fine Thursday until......yeah, we went out to pizza. Oh well, move on.
Yesterday I rocked it. I love these low carb tortillas. Don't really feel guilty that they aren't allowed on phase 1, they are my saving grace. Today so far has been 2 low carb tortillas with fajita veggies I made (holy scrumptious! They are so versatile), 2 eggs and a tiny bit of fat free refried beans and fat free yogurt.
About to have a cheese stick and some sort of veggie for snack before karate then lunch.0 -
I just saw a recipe for spaghetti squash enchiladas I'm going to try. Hubs is sick. Which means he wants comfort food. Which is a challenge for me. But I'll figure something out. Cheers.0

Oh, let me know how that goes. I love spaghetti squash. I also have one of those inspiralizers, really neat.0 -
Rest of my day went well. I liked my breakfast so much that I had it for lunch, haha. My dinner was my broiled fish and cottage cheese. Nice salad with it and some homemade dressing. Feel pretty good. Here's hoping for another great tomorrow.0

Today was pretty good as well. I plugged in some general numbers just to see about how many calories I've been taking in. I haven't been entering in anything on mfp, just writing it down for now. Looks like I'm averaging 1200-1300 a day. Not too bad.
Today's eats
B 2 low carb wraps with fajita veggies, laughing cow cheese, some fat free refried beans, egg and coffee
L same as breakfast
D same as yesterday...broiled fish, cottage cheese and salad
Yeah, I loves cottage cheese. Both sweet and not sweet variations.0 -

Today's plan:
cottage cheese with avocado
string cheese
collard wrap with chicken, blue cheese
snap peas
dinner: gumbo no rice
0 -
My main goal was to stay away from sugar and stop my tortilla and jasmine rice addiction. So far so good on the sugar, but I miss them the tortillas and rice.
And I was increasing the amounts...it was getting out of control. This has been good for me.0 -
