    Challenge #2: 2 pts. (I think. I didn't do a workout with combat, but did climb 50 flights of stairs. I think the ability to climb lots of stairs at a fast pace could come in handy during the zombie apocalypse though, right? Plus, I really really wanted that Lighthouse Fitbit badge.)

    Carol's Beet and Acorn Cookies

    This week, Carol made a tasty cookie out of unusual but healthy ingredients. Share one of your own unusual recipes or strategies that you use to make a high calorie food healthier.[/i]

    I don't eat this anymore as I don't necessarily need it but to make a high calorie food healthier, I make porridge and a big helping of peanut butter along with full-fat milk and put it in the microwave so they blend together, give it a good stir and then add almonds. It's nice, it's very filling and is full of protein, healthy fats and also satisfies any sweet cravings throughout the day.

    It is very likely that many of the characters will have to lay down their weapons and fight with their bare hands to rescue the hostages.


    So, choose a cardio workout video like this one that will give you not only a good workout, but will allow you to practice your combat skills.


    I did the video but I also hit the gym and also hit the punching bag for a good 30 minutes as well as did some running...you never know when you need to flee if you sense danger.

    I kind of rocked my personal goals this week. I also managed to pull through the bonuses pretty well (opinion). Mainly the video/or the like. The latter being considered I may have done it 4 times total.

    Team Carol - sadly, only 5 pts this week. no video, very few vitamins. Can they just make 1 vitamin in liquid form that goes in my coffee - that would be so much easier
