I workout 4-6 days/week and do a combination of weight lifting and running. Currently training for a 1/2 marathon in December. I love working out and have no problem motivating myself to do that, it's just the food I struggle with. I recently upped calories from 1,200/day+exercise (about 1600 total) to 2,100. I'm feeling much better and not gaining. I focus on high protein, and don't eat much grain/wheat products and very little processed foods. I cook a lot. Weakness is desert and alcohol.

I'm pretty new to the MFP world, and after a week of logging food without adjusting my choices (ya know, gathering experimental data. ) I've identified the changes I'll be implementing.
In terms of goal weight... that's a pretty open-ended number especially as I am a person with a high amount of muscle mass. I want to be my best self, whatever that may be.
I am superduper active; I work a physically demanding job full-time and I walk freaking everywhere. I'm also in love with yoga and pilates and dancing.

Never quite got to my goal 2 years ago and stopped at 127; I used to be 5'5" but I'm not going to pretend anymore, lol. I'm really just getting started. I'm about 2 weeks into low carb and have lost 3 pounds so far. I'm not really exercising much yet but a brand new Planet Fitness is opening here in a couple of weeks and I've already signed up, so I'm hoping the newness of it all will help motivate me to go to the gym

I lift 4 days a week. Want to keep building muscle but also cut about 5-6lbs of fat. Ok...10lbs. Hard to do with the appetite that comes with lifting. I have yet to sort out my macros at a level that I can sustain. Also weekends tend to go off the rails for me.

I've been working out and eating healthy for a little under 5 years now. I had some depressing times, tried an SSRI that didn't work for me. Not only did it not help mentally but it made me not care about exercising, eating healthy, staying motivated and it robbed me of the little willpower I still had. Now I'm fighting to get back into a mindset that I matter and what I do and say to myself matters. Sorry for the long intro! Obviously I need a twin to help me get back on track!
