Thanks everyone! She is pretty smart and has a better voice of reason than I do. I think I'll keep her too.
I lifted and rode the bike again this morning, btw.

Thanks for the well wishes. I only need a partial filling (so far). The dentist said I might eventually lose both front teeth depending on how the nerves react over the next few months or so. One of our adult leaders in our Boy Scout Troop works for a very specialized dentist and she insisted I come in for a 3D scan. My - nothing like seeing your whole jaw in 3D! He too said I may loose the one tooth dependent on what the nerve does but he thinks its only the one. He didn't see any cracks in my upper bone or in the roots of the tooth so that's good news. My upper lip is healing well and my bike works just fine.
On a positive note - our Troop is scheduled to go to Sand Dunes NP tonight through Sunday. That always means lots and lots of steps.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!0 -

17.2 miles on the bike today. That brings my MTD to 64.2, which means I hit GOAL today. Super early in the month. But, I'm not sure how many more times I'm going to get to the gym this month due to work meetings, etc. - so I'm glad I hit it early and can just count everything else as bonus miles.

Well I have made it through 7 stages of Giro Challenge. Got a flat today, took my baby to the shop got her fixed and found out my rear mech was bent slightly due to the accident. Why no one caught it sooner I don't know. So bike is perfrcto. My neck and trapezius muscle are making cycling much more difficult. These are injuries I have been plagued with since my accident last June. I am back to chiropractor for 3 days a week until the muscle rebuilds. I was almost healed then Winter was so bad I wound up on the trainer for months. My legs are fine. But that muscle lost some fitness. So here we go again, but the electro stimulus, hot packs, deep tissue message and adjustment is what is going to keep me cycling through this Giro Challenge. I physician however has suggested a full neck fusion, but that would take all flexibility out of my neck hence, no more cycling. Friday the 13th has been full of all sorts of good news.....NOT!!!!!!

I had a hard time getting myself out of the house yesterday morning, but it was great once I did. The weather was beautiful and the bike path had plenty of walkers, runners and cyclists, but wasn't too crowded. I had a nice walk and found a bench half way through to sit and finish the book I have been reading for quite a while. Good book, just couldn't find the time to sit and read for more than a few minutes at a time.
Added 6 miles yesterday for a May total of 51.75 miles

Lots of walking in fine weather here in the NW of the U.K. Walking my grandson to his swimming lesson and the park.
Really enjoying the running club. Thursday was interesting - speed training. 10 quarter mile circuits, with 2 minutes recovery, at speed. I wasn't too fast, but I was consistent.
Today I had a stumble - broke into a run to catch up with my son and literally went flying (witness statements LOL) my kneecap HURTS.0 -

Finally got to see the sun for about 4 hours today after 15 days of raining. Haven't done too much outside and really missing the chance to ride my bike and kayak. Hopefully can get to them this coming week.
