    Had 22 days under my belt and blew it today after teetering the whole past week. I've learned though that emotionally eating is more of a problem than I've realized- frustration and stress seem to be the triggers. I was doing so good but one little injury threw me into a tailspin, and now I'm all upset about letting that get me off track.

    @Moxie42 - banish that doggoned guilt! It's worse than any binge could ever be. You're enduring a stressful time. Pain gets me more than stress, but we all have our limits. This just tells me that your mind needed to let go to focus on healing. So let it. Focus on healing, then you can get back to your bad-mama-jama streak! (HUGS) The thing that sincerely helps me the most is to get rid of the guilt. It happened, I can't change it, so I accept it, analyze it a bit to prevent recurrences as bes I can, and MOVE ON... (HUGS)

    @pudding1980- you're back! :) I've missed you!
    @Moxie42 - agreeing w @KnitOrMiss, you're going to have to breathe through mistakes and forgive yourself to get through this. Beating ourselves up makes it 100x worse. You've been doing do great! Be proud of that!!!

    I managed to stay on track yesterday - but did have a several birthday drinks that added up in calories - I didn't over eat, so I'm happy about that!

    Had about 3 bad days where I overate and nearly binged, but the fact that I didn't go into "eat everything you can get your hands on" mode, I'm giving myself the points and trying to get it more together!

    I'm so proud of myself! I haven't had this kind of streak in at least a year! I seriously could not be doing this without this group. It's funny how we don't know one another, but we share this journey together. Grateful for all of you. ♡

    Binged Saturday night and it was a BAD one, maybe the worst I've had this year. I felt so sick. But it made me think- why do I keep sabotaging myself?! I was doing so well mentally and physically, and now I just want that back. I guess that's the good thing- it's like quitting smoking- it wasn't until I caved and smoked a bunch in one night before I realized how much happier I had been when I quit, how much I hated smoking even though part of me wanted to, and I haven't smoked since! I hope that next time I think about binging I will remember how I felt yesterday, and remind myself it's not worth it! That's helped me stay off the cigs and hopefully it will help with this too. Not beating myself up this time, just moving on and trying to stay positive!

    (hugs) It happens. See if you can find a trigger, then accept it, make a plan, and MOVE ON. (HUGS)

    Sigh.

    11 is still GREAT! It's easy to get bummed out when there's a slip but you're still making progress :smile:
