Week 1 In the Books

Last week after whining to my mom about my progress stalling, she suggested I try reducing my carbs. I've always known I have a problem with carbs, but I thought CICO would be enough.

Well, I took her motherly advice, and I've just finished my first week. I've been pleasantly surprised at how easy it's been for me to go from 230+ grams of carbs each day to 50-75 grams/day. I'm also dumbfounded that I did not adopt this WOE earlier. I'm down 7lbs. It would've been more but I have some DOMS going on. I know it's water weight, but the fact that my body is no longer holding onto 7lbs of fluid it didn't need is fantastic.
