Day 1 DONE! I used 8 pound weights.
Chris0 -
Well I used hand weights, like in one pounds!
This will help my shoulder!
Thanks Chris!
Shelley0 -
Welcome! Sure hope your shoulder gets better soon.
Chris0 -
It could be awhile! I am being optimistic, going for under six months! Frozen shoulder is a pain in the tush!
Shelley0 -
Wow, Shelly, my husband had frozen shoulder. He had to make himself do the exercises which as you know, are difficult and painful. But as the doc told him, it was that or paying for physical therapy. He got through it and I'm sure you will do. But it's tough and I'm so sorry you're going through that!0

RESTING!!!0
-
I am resting also! But I still did my stretching and some weights.
Clara thanks! I will push through this. I think with early diagnosis comes faster recovery. The doc says I have not reached the worst of it. I think I can avoid it by having caught it early. I am hoping anyways.
Shelley0 -
Saturday's are always my catch-up days for each week. Sunday's I get to rest.
Glad it's going well for you, Shelley!

Got it all done today! I tried using different weights for each side. That was weird!
Shelley0 -
Mark it done!
Shelley0 -
Day 2 DONE! (sorry I forgot!)0
-
Got the last two days done. Not sure I should really count them as much though. Right arm using 12-15 pounds, and just about nothing for the left. So unbalanced!
Giggling at reading that Chris.
Shelley0 -
I am kinda behind. I really don't know where I am...Ronan is so cute! Today is a REST DAY! for me.
I'll pick it up tomorrow and make it good! I did do a lot of arms yesterday w/Cathe so maybe I got them all done!! Ya never know.
Chris0 -
I did them yesterday! 5 pound dumbbells next to my TV chair. Felt good! Will do again tonight!!0
-
All caught up!! I may not be able to pick up a pencil tomorrow, but I'm all caught up!

Good job making your shoulder unhappy, Shelley. The more less happy = the sooner gone!
Chris, You're my silly silly. Yes, reading words helps. Not that I ever mind. You make me giggle.
I walked to potluck today. The last mile was just a stroll really, but Highway 84 is somewhat hairy with all the beach goers heading home. zoom zoom zoom :noway:
Paula0 -
Paula be very careful on that beach highway. I got hit by a car crossing from the sidewalk side to the beach beach side. Needless to say, I never made it to the beach that night.
Chris0 -
Oh my, you two need to stay safe. I would be broken without you guys!
Still working it. I am doing good.
My clowns laid eggs again tonight. No cleaning the tank for me!
Shelley0 -
Oh Chrisssss..... You are NOT allowed to be hit by cars. :noway: no! no! no! no! no!!!

Thanks you guys! It was a long, long time ago...when you had to have someone over 18 to sign for you to be helped at the hospital. They left me in the hospital hallway for four hours before they got a signature. After the surgery, they told my mother they were surprised I was alive. They also said the damage done to all my organs was so intense that I would not life past my 35th birthday. bwahahah! Fooled them didn't I??
Baby clowns!!
Walked w/DH this morning for 5.0 miles (6.50 total miles for 14,000 steps) then got on the bike for 16.00 miles in 56 mins and some Ray Donovan then did a yoga challenge then went to play w/our new grandbaby!! A good Monday!0 -
Day 13 DONE!!!
Chris0 -
Chris that was so awful for you.
I am so glad you are still with us. Doctors do not know everything. Thank goodness. And what awful things to tell your parents!
Not sure what day I am on. But got it done!
Shelley0 -
Thanks, Shelley. I don't remember any of it. Everything I tell you about it is what I was told. I might be hanging out here on borrowed time or as DDD says...I'm really a cat. When I had my appendix out, the doc told DH he was surprised I was alive because my appendix had burst the day before but debris in my appendix plugged the hole and the poison couldn't get out. Then two years later, I was told I had an aneurysm of the descending aorta. The doc, again, told DH that he was surprised I was alive that the aneurysm was so thin they could see through it. Sooo, I figure I'm here for a reason. Don't know what it is yet but...
Chris0 -
Maybe so we can have coffee together, Chris? Thank you for being part of my life.
Paula0 -
How did I miss this...oh yeah work.
I'm starting today. I need this more than anyone!
