DH & kids have never been, so we want to get as much as possible from the experience, since we only have one day. We are driving to Orlando, which is also exciting. We are taking 3 days, so that we can enjoy the views. I can't wait
@lpeltenburg I'm going to universal the 7th and Disney the 9th! We stay at a resort not far from Disney called Orange Lakes. We'll be there the 5th-12th and last time we went we just did too much so I'm hoping to get more relaxing/pool time in this time around. The 12th-15th we'll be hopping from Lakeland to Tampa and staying with & visiting family and friends2 -
Challenge #1

Hello Everyone!! I've really enjoyed reading everyone's post. This is my first time on this challenge. I have heard so much about it and I am so excited to finally be able to experience it.
@SmashleyM914 and @carinamenina - Thanks so much for being our Captains! I am looking forward to helping our team each week as much as I can!
3 facts about me....
1. I am a stay at home mom. I am married to an amazing guy (16 years strong) who is very supportive. I have 3 boys ( JJBean (12y) Spooks (10y) and SJ (1 YR). I have 2 dogs (1 standard and 1 mini schnauzer.) I live in a town called Saint Louis in Alsace France.
2. Four years ago I lost a total of 75 lbs but when I lost my mom to ovarian cancer I ate through my grief and gained it all back and them some. Then I got pregnant with my youngest and gained even more!! Last January 2016 I decided to get back on it. I am down 65 lbs so far and still working to lose more. I follow what MFP tells me as far as calories in and I don't usually eat my workout calories back. I try to eat as healthy as possible but I don't deprive myself either. This has worked best for me after trying so many different things.
3. I am in the process of seeing several specialists so I can get weight loss surgery. Actually I have seen them all now and am just waiting for February 22nd to see my surgeon again. We will then set a date which I think may be sometime this spring.
CHALLENGE #1
1. Maricela (Mari)
2. I'm like going to the Gym. Its time away from my house and my kids. It's really all just about me.
3. I am from San Antonio Texas BUT I live in Saint Louis, France. I have been living here since '98.
4. I live in an Alsatian town called Saint Louis, France. It is a TRI-COUNTRY area so down one street we have Basel, Switzerland and down the other we have Weil-am-Rhein, Germany. At the moment it is very icy and cold. Not much snow but if we drive a couple of hours into the mountains we can find lots of it.

@hawkins410 thanks!
@mari_moulin I'm the same way about my gym time. I go at 5 am and my workout time is truly my only "me" time I get throughout the day. I cherish it :]2 -
Hooray, I've always wanted to go to China! Let's see, Challenge #1 for this week...
1. Name: Carina
2. Favorite way to exercise: Running, though I could do without the snow and slush. The only reason I've stuck with it during the winter is because I have a race in March I need to train for :P
3. Where am I from: I grew up in southern California, but I moved to northern Utah for college and stayed here. It's home now.
4. Description of where I live: A valley surrounded by mountains. There are probably five different ski resorts within 30 minutes of my house (shame I don't ski...), gorgeous canyons and other hiking opportunities (another reason I can't wait for the snow to melt), and it's just an overall beautiful area. Here's a picture I took on a run a week or so ago!

@mari_moulin and @SmashleyM914 I'm the same way about running. I like to just leave the house and go be alone with my thoughts for however long. It can be so peaceful and rejuvenating.2

I just entered the minutes from my run this morning (sorry it wasn't that long, I didn't get up early enough plus it was super slushy) and the 10 from challenge #1, so here we go! I also friend-requested all of you I'm not already friends with. I love being able to motivate each other outside of the group as well.1

Just entered my minutes from my Gym time this morning! Also my 10 points for the first challenge! Will start on challenge 2 and 3 tomorrow!2

Challenge 1
1. My name is Patti
2. I really like lifting weights and circuit training. I do them in my home all by myself!
3. I grew up in Battle Ground, WA and moved a whole 10 miles to Vancouver, WA USA. Where my husband and I have moved several times but all within about a 3 mile radius.
4. Vancouver is just north of Portland, Or across the Columbia River. Cold to us is really anything below about 40 degrees outside. We hit in the low 20's week before last and had a foot of snow on the ground for a week before the rains came and washed it away. This last week has been back to the usual wet for this time of year. The weatherman is promising just intermittent clouds today. Our topography is very rolling to steep.
5. Lucy is our 14 year old border collie. She used to run with us but it hurts her to much now to do that.

Challenge#1
1. My name is Rhea
2. Martial Arts training is my favorite way to exercise. I currently train 3-4 times per week. I hate running but am trying force myself to make it a habit. This weather isn't really helping though and I absolutely hate the treadmill. On days when I don’t run I usually do a zumba workout or Fitstar workout.
3. I am from Antigua and Barbuda
4. I live in Silver Spring, Maryland. My neighborhood is very quiet and far enough from the city center where the noise doesn't travel but but close enough where it's not too much if a chore to get to DC. Temperatures this time of year are around 40F.

I took one for the team today lol. Those little oranges used up 5 of my 25g or carbs for the day. It was so worth it! I haven't had anything sweet in 2 weeks, coming off a sugar & cookie fest. I swear it was the sweetest I gave ever tasted! I can't wait to have one tomorrow too
I should get in 90ish minutes logged today. Only Yoga left!4 -
Just had me a yummy clementine!! For a kilo for the week lol0

HELLO EVERYONE !! I finally have time to sit down and get started here..LOL

2. FAVORITE WAY TO EXERCISE: Running/Walking

4. WELL i am just across the river from @tarpguys . SO our areas are the same. I am closer to the Gorge where our ice cold weather comes in from. When she got to thaw out i stayed frozen over for a couple extra days..LOL. Just 10min. east of me is the AWESOME world renowned MULTNOMAH FALLS ( https://youtu.be/TVp04izP2TU ) this along with the Windsurfing capital of the US(short of Hawaii), are the most entertaining parts of the area. OH YEAH and all the HIKING trails, most of them strait up the hills, so be ready for a good burn if you take them.3 -
I believe i have now sent out a friend request to everyone. PLEASE if i missed you send me one and i will be sure to accept it.0

Name: Danielle
Favorite way to exercise: Umm... sleep through the day and skip my meals? lol I kiiiid. I love the elliptical, stair climber, or treadmill on incline. I'd much rather be out hiking though!
Where I'm from: Warrenton, VA.
Little bit about it: I live in a pretty rural/suburb area, but it's bout 40 minutes from DC if there's no traffic. Robert Duvall lives in my county and many of my friends have seen him around! I love the big blue mountains and rolling green hills. I pass this on my daily commute!
