    50.18/50 GOAL MET

4 miles golfing this afternoon. Who would have guessed I would be golfing in February. Oh my goodness I have Spring fever. The legs are sore but a good sore. I am doing more stretching before and after and that seems to help. Now on to bonus miles. I want to get back to 100 miles a month. I have put on 7 pounds and I am hoping with golfing that they fall off quickly. LOL

You are doing so well PinkyPan. It won't be long before you are doing 100 miles a month again.

    - Control the eating
    - water, water, Water

    Feb 1 - 9th = Running total 39.36 miles , and 4/15 over 10,000
    Feb 10 - 4.67 miles - 10281 steps (5/15)

    Feb 16 - 1.04 miles - travel day - 14 hours in the car - heading home :(
    Feb 17 - 1.89 miles - travel day - my butt is sore !!

    down the tobogganing hill.
Running total - 80.55 miles and 10 days over 10,000 steps

Finally stepped on the scale this morning - after being on vacation since January 26th, too much food, only 4 rounds of golf and even with all my walking in the morning!! I have gained a little bit of weight. Some could be water weight but still a gain of 4 pounds :(

So, best buckle down to some serious CONTROL and EXERCISE.

Take care all, have a great day!!

I've been working on strength and walking together and at first, it was not working, but now the pounds are finally falling off. I know the strength training is working because my husband asked me to "help him lift a floor sander" today and I just lifted the thing up for him. You should have seen his face! :noway: Poor guy could not lift his sander alone

Woo Hoo!!! I am heading to the mountains for Spring break and I can't wait to get hiking! I am hoping the snow is gone and that it will be nice that week. One can never tell about northern NY, but I am keeping my fingers crossed!!! I need to get to it before the black flies and mosquitos come out!

    Walk Strong Everyone!

@zichab as I consider you our Leslie guru of the dvd's by chance do you know what dvd has the 3 mile walk on it with Leslie, Mary Kay in her heavier days Vance, Suzanne and two other ladies It starts off regular walk then we add weights. 2nd mile is Mary Kay's mile and it's faster no weights then 3rd mile back to Leslie and back to weights. I am having a horrible time keeping my internet and now I can't seem to find it on youtube. So I would just like to buy the dvd with that walk on it if anyone knows which dvd has it on it I would greatly appreciate a point in the right direction. Thanks

By the way it's hit and miss with the snow we are having very mild weather so in WNY all our snow is gone. My brother in law is more northern near the Canadian border that direction and he still has spots of snow.

LOL well I have never been a guru before, but I do happen to know that one as it is one of my favorites as well! It's part of the Walk at Home series and it is called 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk: A "Power Walk" at Home! I found it on Daily Motion, but you are right, I find it easier to pay for copies of the DVD's and then I have them whenever I want since my TVs are always able to play them whether I have Internet or not! :smirk:

We are heading to our Tupper Lake house in March and I am hoping that this warm spell continues. It has been 60 degrees here in Michigan! At first, I said, "We'll head to the Adirondacks for some snow", but then when I saw that ktloo was hiking, I thought, "hmmmm, maybe I'm over snow now! It's hiking weather!" If there is no snow in Western NY, then there is No Snow anywhere!!!

    Enjoy the video!

Hi 2020pinktogo, I'm not zichab, but I'm jumping in cause this is one of my favorites. (Love the Mary Kay mile.) It's called Walk at Home 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk. The DVD cover has a date of 2007.

    Hope this helps.

Woohoo! You are strong! I bet that felt good too. You know you are making progress when without even thinking about it, you lift something you ordinarily wouldn't even tackle. Makes it all worth while. :)
