I went to Oklahoma to the Casino with my sisters this past week-end and I did not have anything to drink except for water. I ate healthy and my portions were under control. I was able to fit into a pair of jeans I have not been able to wear in a long time. Made me feel good.10

My main NSV the past month has been to log my food every day. I'm feeling more energy but have yet to fit in any of my old clothes.5

Blood pressure checked at doctor appt and it is back in normal range! 110/75! It had slipped high as weight maxed but so happy again in healthy range!7

I haven't had a scale victory yet... I'm still floating around my SW. BUT You can see changes in my face and neck, Even my waist is smaller. 1 pants size down. ^.^5
-
So I haven't had too many NSV, but I'm already starting to feel better when I'm standing or walking just from going from 430 to 400. I can't wait to see how much easier life gets.17

This one was a weird NSV for me because I hadn't ever thought about it before. But I lost a shoe size... I used to wear size 8's. All my life, I've worn size 8 shoes. But now every pair, regardless of store, just falls off my feet. I am excited to buy a new pair of size 7 shoes for my next milestone reward.8

This is actually normal for some. My mum went down 2 shoe sizes. My aunt, sister and a friend all went down 1 shoe size as well. I never thought feet would shrink with weight loss but meh. Makes sense. xD Awesome though, congratulations! ^.^2 -

Congratulations! That happened to me once before. It was so nice because I have a hard time finding shoes due to a very high instep. I was able to walk into a shoe store and walk out with a pair of shoes. I didn't have to watch for UPS or FedEx. I am so happy for you.1 -
On Friday I did multiple sets of 24" box jumps - all 244lbs of me! Three days later and I'm still proud of myself.10

I noticed Sunday that the skirt that I wore to church was very loose - which is a great thing since I tend to carry my weight well - meaning I don't look like I weigh what I weigh, but the flip side is that its hard to tell I've lost weight when I have. I haven't lost a clothing size yet, but this shows me that I'm on my way there!8

While I was walking this morning, my pants kept falling down. I had to hike them up or hold them up every so often. ^.^8

My legs are looking smaller, my boyfriend even mentioned it. While that's not a place I really needed to lose from, at least I know changes are happening (especially since I am on turtle speed at losing weight).6

Today is a home Ed meet up for me and my boy. Our entire group of mums and kids ended up in burger king. They were eating fries. I had an apple I'm proud I didn't give in and eat fries. I'm already feeling better for having cleaned up my eating.6

My NSV is that I've logged my food for exactly a month today!! I'm very proud that I've kept it up, and I don't see myself stopping any time soon!8
-
I've gone swimming two days in a row! Its small, but I'm proud of myself.8

I did some very heavy yard work today - trimmed bushes with a power saw, and then loaded the limbs into the truck, drove it up the hill, and unloaded it onto the brush pile - filled my truck up twice!
Then, I loaded - by hand - 20 buckets of gravel and walked them up the hill to fill in the muddy ruts where I drive my car around my house. I buy Tidy Cat by the bucket (6 cats go through a LOT of litter), and that's the size bucket I was using.
I use http://calorielab.com/burned/ to estimate my calories, but I cut it way back - according to them, someone at my weight would have burned over 900 calories doing what I did for 90 minutes, and I think I worked for over 2 hours. I just estimated it as 500 calories - and that means I can have an extra serving of soup and cornbread for supper!5 -
so that was my victory for the day - because I managed to get myself outside and doing something physical! Though I can already tell I'm going to be extremely sore tomorrow.....4

I hit my school's gym with a friend every Tuesday and Thursday for the past two weeks now. We have no idea what we're doing but we're slowly figuring out. (Thursday was leg day and the gym is upstairs x_x)
On another hand, while I've only lost a little bit in the two weeks I've been doing this, the fact that I've made *any* progress is more than I thought I was capable of a month ago. Especially when I'm not starving all of the time. I'm not at all comfortable with my body but it's giving me a lot more confidence. ^^5 -
Maybe TMI but: boobs are stickin' out past belly. That's a win in my books.11
-
Perhaps TMI, but I understand that victory completely3

anna4anna.....great victory!!!!2

My NSV is my clothes are fitting looser than before.5
-
My recent NSV is my jeans are fitting so loose now that I can take them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them. Now that feels good! Might be time for a shopping spree soon!7

This is my favourite part about this process lol! Shopping for new clothes and shoes is something I used to dread...but now it's so much fun seeing the sizes go by. ☺ wtg!3 -
Don't know if this is a NSV but it has always been hard for me to take a compliment, I usually argue back but have been smiling and saying thank you lately.5

I used to be the same way and did not receiving compliments, but I find more and more these days I am accepting them and liking them as well. Part of the process I guess.

Here's my most recent NSV...three and a half weeks ago, my husband and two daughters and I went to buy roller blades. Everyone started trying on blades including myself. However, my calves and ankles were too big and I couldn't even fasten them. I was so ashamed and super sad. I bought them anyway and vowed to get into them. That's when I started my weight loss journey. (Again). Yesterday, I thought what the heck and tried them on. Guess what?! I got them fastened! They are still a little tight, but three more weeks should do the trick and I'll be skating off calories in no time!8

Thats awesome! Good for you!0 -
My NSV this week is hitting my goal of 40" total loss. I've been keeping track of my measurements since day one as well as my bodyfat % as time goes on. In many ways, this NSV means more to me because for whatever reason my brain can process numbers from measurements and equate it to progress, versus my brain processing what it sees in the mirror.4
