Started 3/6/17 down 4.6 lbs in 10 days .. hit Keto flu .. looking for info .. success stories.. recipes etc.. Need to lose 20 more lbs ..

    Congrats! There are a ton of resources in this group, but from what I've gleaned from reading here and other resources online, doing occasional carb-ups, hydrating, and adding salt can really help relieve the flu symptoms.

    HealthfulPursuit.com is a wonderful website that has a ton of recipes, as well as one of the most informational podcasts I've heard. Here's a link to one of the shows that talks a bit about keto flu and ways to get over the hump.

    Keto Flu is a myth. It is electrolytes and dehydration. 100% avoidable. 5000 mg sodium supplemented, generally at least the first 12 weeks to replace what its being dumped. Pickles, olives, salted broth, pickle juice, etc.

    For salt, try using sea salt. It has more electrolytes than normal table salt.
