Twins - OK to sub heavy cream for whole milk... and maybe a wee spot of Everclear?1 -
I think I'm coming to the realization that there isn't anything I couldn't give up if necessary....lol. I used to think I could never give up pasta or bread and wow was I wrong about that....
That being said I still love my coffee and would be real sad to give it up as well.
And cheese....

I have a few, but if I boil it down to one it's my Diet Dew! Everything else is sporadic and controllable, but my daily dew remains.1

Coffee!! No way no how can I ever give it up!0
-
Kimchi. That's my 'Desert Island Discs' luxury item, right there....1

Diet Coke! I am trying to cut back but fail a lot? I try to keep the 16.9 oz. bottle size and take a couple sips and then I drink a 8 oz. bottle of water. This works sometimes and does not work sometimes? It is a battle for me.0

You're better off drinking normal coke.
Seriously.
So-called 'diet' coke is worse for you than the normal stuff.0 -

Uh.... beg to differ.
Diet Pepsi over DC, though.2 -
All Hail HALO TOP!!! I'm so danged happy I found it since iced milk is seriously not the same. Though I have to be careful since I can still eat it like a you know what.
I can't give up my peanut butter. I have switched over to natural peanut butter with no added sugars but I know, I know, legumes are bad. *sigh*2 -

Sugar v. Aspartame, like a great many food choices, is most likely an individual thing.
Sure, I'd prefer stevia, but gimme aspartame over a sugar bomb any day! (Diabetic speaking.)
PS. I might be inclined to block health.com. (See the Official Darwin Awards thread...)2 -
Aspartame makes me physically sick. I cannot abide the flavour, and can detect it where others apparently cannot. Looking at the ingredients, it's there, in small letters....
I can see why you'd block health.com (having seen the thread you indicate) I was merely indicating there are sources out there....0 -
Diet coke... And coffee from Tim Hortons0
-
Coffee.. I use sugar free creamer but I know that still doesn't really help it.0

Mind you, I don't buy Diet Coke or anything with aspartame, but if it's aspartame or death (or sugar), well.....1 -
Café? Ma naturalmente!0
-
Coffee is life blood (and my appetite suppressant in the morning)
Cheese/dairy
Avocados are my heros on days I need an easy portable meal...or hefty snack.
Peanut butter (in moderation of course)0 -

My boss buys Zevia to fuel his Coke addiction without the sugar or artificial sweeteners. I haven't tried it, but he swears it's the best. https://zevia.com/0 -
Coffee, cheese, chocolate (though in serious moderation or fat bombs if I'm really craving it and in a pinch), and sweet n low. Yeah, yeah, artificial sweeteners, I know, I've read it all. It doesn't give me trouble so I'm keeping it.0

I can live with all the things I have given up from the carb world (and found excellent replacements Zoodles for noodles and I even made keto bread (almond flour egg backing powder butter) in a coffee cup in the microwave in 90 seconds!) but if someone said it's a Keto diet or Coffee. Coffee wins! Everything else is up for negotiations.2
