The time after can be difficult. Not just today but for however long afterwards. After the funeral tends to be the time many think it is now time to carry on with your life just as your Mom would "want" or you "should". Be with family and friends.

Grief is not something you go around or go over. You have to go through it. Take your time.

I just want to say I'm so sorry for your loss. There are so many good suggestions here from those who have been in your shoes. All I can say is grief has its own timetable. We can only do the best we can for ourselves while its with us.
