45 minutes today. Kind of mixed swim and drills. I got to share the lane with a guy who is just about the same pace as myself. We swim well together. I don't even know his name...
A hard swim, but I needed it. I arrived with a splitting headache, but left totally worn out and feeling good2 -
Yes: 1 mile @ 60 minutes2

45 min breast, front crawl, back crawl. Won't listen my distance cuz it looks pathetic next to the rest of these. But I made progress & had fun, which is what matters!
Anyone who can now fit in one leg of her old clothes is an inspiration. I saw that profile photo.3 -
3000 yards @ 60 minutes. Four workouts this week when I had only planned 3 so that is a win. The hot weather here had me swimming instead of walking. Cooling off this weekend and looking forward to getting back out along the river.1

Most of this year it's been once or twice since our club pool closed in December!
Trying to get three or four swims a week as of last week - made it four times last week but it's hard with full-time work and four kids (on my own) - life is busy!1 -

Looking at the results for the open water swimming. The man who won the 2.5km swim only took 55.36.....in the 85-89 year ago group!!!!
And the winner of the 75-79 age group only took 46 minutes. That is beyond exceptional. Amazing!!!!!
That really is amazing. That is why swimming is my exercise of choice, and should the good Lord allow me another 50 years or more, I hope to be swimming all through the years!

Greetings folks and good to see everyone swimming away.
Been away awhile, but swimming even when not logged, though been quite inconsistent for various reasons.
As a result, I now have at least 7 kilos to lose, so down we go again ...1 -
yes 1 mile @ 57 minutes0

3000 yards @ 60 minutes0

4 miles each the last two nights.
Both night had to dodge a slowski whom I passed almost every lap. Persevered though and got the full swim in.
Today make the countdown shorter. 7 days.

Got an hour of laps/drills in before class last night. Thank god. I had gotten into mischief with a box of Nilla Wafers that I served my preschoolers in the afternoon. I needed 2 hours in the water...2
