Our UAC Team friendships are making this accountability challenge a lot of fun and very effective. So many of you keep saying things, such as, "I was going to slack off, but then, I thought about the team and got up off the couch and did some exercise!" Hallelujah!

@scubachick67 - I know what you mean, has been a tough day for me today too but you can do it, we are all behind you.

Did make it in the end today despite being hungry most of the day probably due to not eating properly yesterday evening. Also had an upsetting conversation with my sister this morning, her father-in-law is in hospital and has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. This is when I really feel the distance from my family in the UK.
Exercise: 2x 30 minutes exercise bike
Tracking: good
Calories: just made it but ate most exercise calories today, also made my protein goal easily

@phoebelayla My goal last year was to post a photo of myself. Then my daughter informed me my ex is on here somewhere. I like my life the way it is where he thinks I am heavy and has nothing to do with us. He never sticks with anything so I am hoping for the end of this year. Then I am sure you will just be bedazzled by my sparkle and mass amounts of pink. Lol8

I am really loving the elliptical machine at work. Now my goals are to exercise more than I ate for lunch. My coworkers went out for ice cream I ate my protein bar and then did the elliptical. I came back all hyped and they were like did you have a diet coke. Nope I exercised more than I ate. They were not thrilled with me. LOL
Today I need to go to my parents to get some tools so I can get something accomplished at my house. We share stuff except I seem to leave all my tools there. My girl tools are easier for my dad to handle not as heavy. Today I need to pick up their prescriptions anyways so hopefully I can scoot in and out and get home to get something accomplished. I am already feeling guilty about not staying and helping at their place when nothing is getting done at mine. This is crazy. Til later have a great day!!7 -

@aeshippers Sorry to hear about your sister's father-in-law. @scubachick67 "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good."
It's weigh in day today at WW. Hope I've maintain after a very busy hectic week.5 -
@scubachick67 - Craigo gave you some great advice yesterday. The fact that you are owning up and checking in today is huge. You got this. Maybe pre- log the rest of your day right now so that you know you can do it and you have a roadmap to follow. This is your new day.6

I got good news on my cat yesterday, and I felt like the sun had come back on it my life. The sadness and stress had been been pervasive at my house and now I have been so happy!! The mass inside her larynx does not look like cancer and we have her on a variety of medications for inflammation and fungal and bacterial infections.
Today I prep for a road trip tomorrow to LA with my oldest son to tour some colleges (USC, LMU, UCLA). We will have fun. I just need to plan out and bring some food. He can eat non-stop and will. Three days. I can do it.7 -
Too early for me to be checking in. I went for some exercise though. I wasn't too ambitious. I was like at least ten minutes off of all of my ambitious times.
I seen some wild horses. They call them wild but what they really are is feral. They been feral for like 400 years. I think some Spanish guy lost them and they were perfectly happy to run around without shoes since then. They are not wild in the sense that they will run from you. You can walk right up to them. I have. I gave one my apple once. But they are not domesticated.
You can have one of them if you want. I don't guess there is anybody that can say anything about that. I couldn't get one to fit in my car though.
I should have got a picture of a wild horse but instead I found myself sitting in the dirt looking at a weed. Oh well.
I hope you guys are doing well and having fun in spite of what looks like setbacks.

@bocasdelbobdog if my weeds were that pretty I would have left them instead of attacking them like a crazy woman.4

Pass 2 and 3 but I'm going to keep going!
Last night we had friends round for dinner and my "don't drink too much don't drink too much" mantra went out the window. We had such a fun time! But it took me over my calories and I ate bad foods today to survive the hangover.
@phoebelayla I actually let out a happy little squeal reading that! Fantastic news
@aeshippers sorry for the sad news and you feeling far away. Im sure you helped your sister more than you realise over the phone though.
@bocasdelbobdog I can picture you racing your bike against the horses!
@2020pinktogo I like the anonymity on here too without photos! Well done exercising your lunch calories:amazing!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend UACers! Hope you're all having fun!4 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes.. did a 5K Obstacle Course run today. Actually I walked it, but I walked it in 2 hours whereas last year it took me 3. Since I have severe COPD, I think this was a great accomplishment. It was up and down hills and through the woods. Losing the little weight that I have and exercising and building up my lung endurance has made a big difference.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Ues, although I did eat about 60 of my exercise calories since it's my husband's birthday and I shared a piece of cheesecake with him.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.6 -

@SimonsChange Good for you!
@debodom1962 That is great news about your accomplishment in lessening your COPD. I have asthma, so I understand how happy you are to do the Obstacle Course in 2 hours instead of 3.
@bocasdelbogdog Thanks for the flower photo!3 -
Today's report:
Every spring, we need to go through our farm woods of 12 acres and clean up the deadfall limbs and trees. Today was that day. It was 90 degrees F. and we worked for 6.5 hours of cutting; lifting; throwing logs into the pickup and more. Whew! It is rare that I do that much outside work. I love it, but I will be happy if I can walk tomorrow.
Calories; Just fine
Tracking: ok4 -
@debodom1962 - sounds fun. Good job on your new PR!
@am_change - thanks!!!
@RangerRickL - oh my, I hope you can lift your arms tomorrow. That sounds intense. My your ice pack be your friend.
Yes x 3. Did the StepMill at the gym for an hour and then did 20 min on stationary bike. I went to the store and bought good protein snacks for my road trip after work tomorrow. Need to stay focused while traveling. I work tomorrow am and then will be driving 7-8 hours, but I will get some physical activity in there some way some how.4 -
Hi! Checking in!
Just got off of my 8 hour serving shift so I was on my feet running around that whole time, I also logged every bite I ate AND stayed under my calorie goal both of which are tough when working in an Applebee's5 -
Everything is going good here except I am very very tired, tiredness is another trigger of mine so I had a day of cravings but they were controllable, We had visitors in to see Bud today so this morning I made a big tray of raw vegetables and a fruit tray. Also had ham, roast beef, chicken, cheese and sliced dill pickles for bunwiches. Even though it was all healthy stuff I ate a bit much early in the day but that was solved by having salad for supper. Good day overall.
@craigo3154 I liked your comments yesterday(and today) to @scubachick67 I also do not cook special meals for me and eat with my family always. We have treats from time to time and the only thing I do is portion control but I never feel deprived as I have absolutely no foods that are not allowed, When I tell myself I can't have something I am setting myself up for disaster because I would probably have what I made for me and then still eat the food I deprived myself of...lol. This is your battle to win @scubachick67 and we are here to help you every step of the way.
@phoebelayla my money is on you having a successful day tomorrow.....YOU HAVE GOT THIS! Glad to hear about your cat!
@RangerRickL sure hope you can walk tomorrow, it must have felt good working on your own land for the day though
@SimonsChange congratulations on making your walking goal this week! You are rocking this..WAY TO GO!
@debodum1962 Great job in reducing your time by a whole hour...WOW! And good for you enjoying your cheesecake while still staying on plan!
@aeshippers sorry to hear you are feeling down about being away from your family I understand completely I am 5000 KM's from most of my family. Hope your sister is coping okay with her father inlaws illness.
