    176...was 131 before dinner, had taco casserole with a slice of bread. Would have been ok I think had I not had the bit of chocolate peanut butter pie... :o

    340. Another bad eating day and I forgot to take my second dose of metformin.

    Do you have to take with meal or can you take it when you remember?

    Took 15 units Levemir so we'll see how it looks in the morning.

    If it doesn't upset your stomach you can take it whenever. Some doctors will mistakenly tell you that it requires food for proper absorption but in fact according to my pharmacist the opposite is true, food reduces absorption. However, many people have serious stomach trouble with it without food.
