Finally starting to really SEE the progress. I definitely feel lighter. My climbing has really improved. I'm trying to not get overly excited or ambitious though! I realize there are more peaks and valleys of this weight loss to come.

Goal weight: 116 with more muscle
If I can't maintain 116 without being hungry all the time though, I will reset my goal to 121-122, at which point I know I will be able to maintain myself and be satisfied.
Update: I'm at 120 (holy crap that was fast!!) and feeling good, this would be a good place to set the top of my maintenance range. I want the low end of it to be 110, we'll see how this month goes. I'm also building strength so will eventually start recomping; getting back into climbing and working out this month and it feels good! As I've mentioned elsewhere, I've mostly stopped drinking this month and it's given me way more energy; I'm convinced it's why I lost weight so fast at the beginning.
My waist is about 3.5" less now than it was at my heaviest; that's more than 11%. Lost 10% off the hips. I need new clothes.2 -

I reached my July goal already! WOW. It feels great to be making progress. Even on the weekends, I feel very in control of what I'm eating. If I order a big breakfast one day (cinnamon raisin french toast LOL), I make sure not to over do it the rest of the day. I had another bikini beach weekend, and I feel so much more confident than I have in the past (even when i was skinnier). I'm becoming more comfortable in my skin, and I think that's what it's really all about. I guess since I reached my July goal, I can set a new short term goal! I'm going to go for 171.7lbs by July 31st!

So I didn't really get a chance to workout cuz I've been sick with a fever for the past few days even though I was 63.5 kg the other day.

You are all doing so well! I seem to have hit a temporary plateau. Mind you, I am back to a normal exercise routine and eating well, so hopefully I will start losing again soon!

@bringbackthejoy Good luck with C210K! I'm intending to stick to the 5k runs for a while until I get a time below 30 mins (currently just sub 36). Then I may attempt the 10k if I feel I want to.1 -

Last weigh in of July for me. Weight seems to have plateaued a bit, but I did hit my body fat goal at least. Mind you, I feel like I am back in the zone after Sunday's run (first in two weeks, I beat my PR) and yesterday's epic PT session. I say epic: I managed to deadlift 40kg, a whole 19 reps! By then my back was screaming at me so reduced it to 32.5kg for the remainder of the session (another 36 reps). My body aches, but it's a pleasant ache.
This coming weekend I have a hen weekend, but I will try to be good. If my body allows I will get in a run and a gym visit before then, and a gym visit on Sunday evening (subject to severity of hangover).

Can I get a whoop whoop?! Okay so technically this isn't a true gain, it's fluid retention because after surgery I stopped taking on fluids at 8pm because it made sleeping uncomfortable and I have stopped doing that now, and a touch of bloating from consuming dairy, but after a truly terrifying weigh in at 140.4lb I was 100% done. As for August, I'm not sure what I want to do yet, other than trying to maintain still. I'll be getting back into training too so I want to make sure that my eating is keeping me strong for that.
TBH, I just love coming into this thread and being like YASSSSS QUEENS because you guys are killing it. A bunch of MVPs for bringing it every day of every week.6 -

My whoop was decidedly deflated this morning when I weighed in at 140.8lbs. It's fine, just means my IBS is settling back down, thankfully. There was so much gas. Just air but still gas. Plus sometimes you get a low after a high so I'm probably somewhere in the middle which is still better than last week.

Annnnnnd I'm slowly knocking em down!! I really didn't think I would lose anymore this week, as I had a lot of loss the last week and a half. I also have been extra tired lately, but I pushed myself into doing a light workout yesterday! I also have been trying to drink more water. This morning I got to sleep in an extra hour and I can't wait to keep sleeping this weekend!
@glassofroses you have been SUCH a trooper post surgery. You will be back to training in no time. In the meantime, I will be living vicariously through your dinner and snack updates. Have some pasta and think of me LOL.

I just joined this group but I've been consistently weighing in around 116. My body fat got as low at 17% (I go weigh on an InBody scale every two weeks). I had an off week and a half (due to injury) where I also ate pretty poorly, and got up to 119. Today I weighed in at 112. The lowest I have seen since before baby. I haven't stepped on the InBody scale in awhile, plan to tomorrow - but my Omron Body fat reader has been saying 20% body fat lately. I don't expect it to be any different on the InBody. So that's disappointing that my weight loss is most likely muscle loss.0

Yay! I met my weight loss goal for this month JUST BARELY! I'd been waking up all this week at 133 praying I could get rid of that one last pound! I'm starting to get people commenting on my weight loss and noticing it, which is really great validation since for the longest time I felt like even though the scale was going down my body wasn't changing. It looks like most everyone did pretty well this month - remember to stay positive and keep motivated!0 -

Nicely done everyone, some really good results. Special shout to @glassofroses: You're doing amazingly post surgery! And well done for catching up with me so quickly @2tall4thisworld. After a slow start in June you have really taken off!
I came back from the hen weekend yesterday. Much alcohol was consumed, the food was mostly carb and fat, we danced a lot, I got all of 7.5hrs sleep across two nights. But we also did an activity (It's a Knockout) so I ache today. I stood on the scales this morning and, amazingly, I haven't put on any weight .
Am off to start an August thread!2 -
