Sodium - Science for 3-5 g (3000-5000 mg) per day

Most in this group understand we need more than the 2300 mg (2.3g) of sodium the "experts" say we should have. However, the general public doesn't understand this. Therefore, you likely have loved ones who will be scared you are killing yourself as you salt your bone broth and drink pickle juice to up your sodium intake. For that reason, I wanted to post the video below. It was posted before, but it kept being removed because it was a presentation on yet unreleased research data. Hopefully, this will stay up for a while. In addition, I am adding links to a couple of the abstracts for the studies he references which show that for the general population 3-5 g per day of sodium seems to be the healthiest levels and that going over 5 g a day is only detrimental for those who are hypertensive.
