    Made me laugh. No Cheezies. I polished off a box of Cheese It's last week. I need blinders when I go grocery shopping.

    Awesome milage, Lilymay!

    @Lilymay2 and @AnnofB, same here with those Cheezies :p and @Deeder522 sometimes with the donuts. Except the other weekend it was my DH who asked if he should bring donuts home, and not being at the store I was not really tempted so I gallantly said no o:) .... he brought cookies home instead :laugh: .....

    @KarlaLM58, hope that your back feels better soon.
    Thank you for asking <3 . We were spared much of what we expected from Harvey after landfall as we were in the direct path of the storm bands as originally projected. We ended up with a high pressure system that nudged Harvey a bit east giving us constant rain and wind all of that weekend but not nearly to the extent expected. No floods in my area and my power was restored that evening. We had our trees trimmed and a new roof put on several months ago because of the previous hail storm, so I had clean up in the yard but no downed limbs.

    @zichab, good for you getting more Leslie in o:) ! You will get your knee and shoulder strength back because you are so determined. I am so proud of you for never giving up. I agree that health problems are the pits. {{{Hugs <3}}}

    @PigladyK, welcome to the group! Yay for the 3 miles with weights!

    Kudos for all the rest of the miles y'all are posting. I love reading them!

    September 9-13:
    I've been busy with much catch up indoors and in the yard/garden off and on this week. No 'mileage' but have been active enough. The back fence, mostly perennial, garden finally looks tidy again.
    The Society garlic plants are blooming now. They are so lovely. The Autumn sage also is blooming after the rain we had. And the 3 Mexican Fire Bushes are all blooming against the back fence. This year they have been blooming most of the summer instead of the usual October pattern. I believe it is because we had trees trimmed in the spring and there is more sun in the area. Butterflies and hummingbirds really like them.

    Did a 20 min walk with Jessica Smith that was also an Upper Body circuit. I figure I better start working on my arm's since they will be showing for the wedding in Nov.

    Gardening is a lot of work. Will have to look up all these plants you mentioned, Mary. The sound lovely. We live in the country and it's been fun having hummers and butterflies swarm here. We have a wild area on the hill behind us and it keeps the butterflies busy. Lot's of milkweed and some wild vines with trumpet flowers. We have feeders for the hummers. My next project is adding some flowers via shrubs like azaelas and roses. Not sure what else to add. I do have a small bed of day lilies. Hope you have a nice weekend, Mary. :smile:

    WOW, all of you are doing so well this month!!! I need to step it up!!! :p I do not have a problem with donuts following me home, but that darn ice cream keeps jumping right into my cart!!!! I keep trying to put it back, but it just will not stay there! :explode: Ice cream is very insistent on coming home with you so beware of it OK??? :laugh:

    I am working on getting my mileage up now and I have decided that 2-3 miles with Leslie is better than nothing. I need to keep the good old oxygen flowing and the weight off!!!

    Walk Strong Everyone! :bigsmile:
