I haven't weigh in today but this is the last weigh in I did and it was with all my clothes on. It's been a surreal week because of close personal tragedy and I haven't eaten properly. I'm doing the best I can to get back to normal (hence posting) but my stomach isn't really having it.

    10/28:

Still insanely busy with work, school and wedding planning. I am feeling MUCH better this week after allowing myself to eat whatever I wanted and sleep as long as i wanted with 0 exercise over the weekend. I think i needed to just crash and take care of me. It turns out I have a wicked ear piercing infection, and some sort of problem going on with my eyes, so my fiancé is suddenly dealing with a partially blind partially deaf lady, but I know we'll get through!

Does anyone have a food suggestion for probiotics? I have had a yogurt cup almost every single day now for 5 months as part of my diet so now that I am required to have one a day to offset the antibiotics I am almost gagging when I eat them! Please let me know if y'all think of anything!

A thousand hug/high five combos to @2tall4thisworld for getting down to the 150's that is such a great breakthrough! Also, I love your poison Ivy Costume idea - that is what I did for the past 2 halloweens and it was so much fun! I found it to be a very empowering outfit haha.

My cheers and support to all on their journeys!

@RMC1995 Actimel drinks, but the 0% fat ones because the normal ones are so disgustingly sweet I just can't with them. Ugh.

@glassofroses This is going to sound dumb, but I have never even heard of that before! Is this a powder or something that you add to water like those fiber drinks? Can I buy these drinks in most grocery stores do you think? Or should I look for it at a healthy eating place like Whole Foods or an Organic shop? I live in New York State in the US if that makes a difference.

    @RMC1995 Try Kefir https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kefir

@glassofroses I'm sorry to hear you've had a personal tragedy to deal with. Good vibes coming your way.

@RMC1995 You should be able to get them in the milk aisle in the supermarket, in the States they're called DanActive, I think. They come in packs of 4 or 8, they're basically a yoghurt drink like Yakult if you've ever seen that.

@rianneonamission I haven't had Kefir since I was a kid! Honestly sort of forget it existed. I know my super market has it so I guess I should pick some up!
@glassofroses DanActive sounds familiar, although I don't know Yakult. Thank you for the suggestion - I'll check it out on my next grocery visit!

@rianneonamission Thanks, hon. It sucks balls, but it was as peaceful as it could have ever been and it ended a lot of suffering.

Oh no, your dad? I'm so very sorry. Even if it was peaceful and ended a lot of suffering it doesn't make it any easier. Be kind to yourself <3

@rianneonamission Yeah, it was my dad. It doesn't feel real yet so I'm just trying to be as normal and as kind to myself as possible, like you say. If I don't want to eat, I try for something even if I don't finish it all but I don't berate myself if I don't. I made myself walk to the doctor's today to tell them he had passed rather than just calling them so I haven't just curled up in a ball. The funeral won't be for a couple of weeks which I'm grateful for in a way because I know I'm going to be a lot worse when all the sorting is done and all that's left is him being gone.

Sorry everyone for the serious talk. I'm an oversharer by nature. Plus if one person talking about grief helps another or gets someone to open up about their own hurt to ease it then I'm all for it.

Don't be sorry. Plenty of us have overshared on these threads, and I highly doubt anyone minds.

@2tall4thisworld Congrats on hitting the 150s! You are doing fabulously!

In addition to my check in yesterday, I am pleased to confirm that my thoughts were right, and it was all water weight:
    18th Oct: 163.4lbs - Body fat 26.1%
    25th Oct: 164lbs - Body fat 26.3%
    26th Oct: 162.6lbs - Body fat 26.0%

Hi ladies, I have not been doing so well with logging, tracking, eating properly the last couple of weeks, the scales are reflecting this, this is my 3rd week with a gain :( we've had my parents living with us for nearly 2 weeks now, and I can't exercise properly as my conservatory has been taken over with their stuff, I'm not planning my meals properly, tonight for example is going to be an M&S meal. They are going to be with us for another week I think, so until then, I'm just going to have to try and be good when I'm at work, although my work planning has gone out the window too :s

You girls are all doing so amazing, well done @2tall4thisworld for getting into the 150's :)

@glassofroses I'm so sorry for your loss, big hugs to you

    Hope everyone enjoys their weekends

PS my apple watch is broken too :s

    Start of Jan: 148 lbs
    Start of Feb: 139 lbs
    Start of March: 133
    Start of Apr-127.2

    October 6-111.2
    October 13-Away
    October 20-112.1
    October 27-110.8

Struggles: massive struggle this week. It seems I did injure my IT band. I am gutted. I tried running yesterday and could barely manage 3 miles. I was under 110 lbs which is not a good look on me. My 1/2 marathon is next week and I don’t know if I will be ready. All of this work to fail before the race even starts is devastating.
Successes: I am rehabbing and found a bunch of excercises for this.
Upcoming week plan: I will run the 5k zombie mud run tomorrow with my friends. It’s 5k with 50 obstacles so not a straight run. Feeling my body after this will help me decide what to do about the 1/2.

@glassofroses I am so sorry for your loss. I have no words. My heart goes out to you. Yes, take care of yourself. I am sending you hugs from afar.

Trying not to let these big jumps freak me out. As long as they don't continue every week, I should be OK. Third time around, I'd like to think I know what I'm doing :)

So very sorry for your loss @glassofroses, hugs <3

@mrssunshine78 I'm so sorry you've been struggling so much with your meal planning and subsequent gains! I know how hard it can be to fall out of practice with your lifestyle changes. I suggest continuing to do your best at work and staying motivated. Everyone here is rooting for you and I'm sure you'll manage to get your feet back under you soon!

@bringbackthejoy Ouch! I really hope you are able to rehab well and are ready to compete in your 1/2 marathon next week, I know you've been training for it or ages. Either way, listen to and respect your body - better to wait for another marathon to come along that to seriously injure yourself!

    Lots of love to everyone!

Happy Halloween ladies! Congratulations to those of you that continued to check in this month and push through. It seems that there are a handful of us that experienced some real personal devastations. @glassofroses my heart goes out to you through this difficult time.

I am so impressed with how many of us have continued this journey together even through all of the ups and downs. I'm happy to see so many new group members as well.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the November accountability thread!
As for me, I'm coming up on that dreaded shark week so I might experience a spike in weight and then hopefully a leveling off. Ultimately I would like to get to 154 and then just maintain for a little while.
Keep up the great work everyone!

    Welcome to November everyone!

October wasn’t my month for being mental engaged with this, but I also didn’t throw in the towel completely, so I’m proud of that. It's been a bit of a transition month for me and I’m hoping November will level out a little bit. I’m ready to re-engage though and am glad to see that even being a little more involved at the end of October helped me make some moves in the right direction.

I have 2 big goals in life right now, this is one of them and the other is a financial goal I’m working toward. It seems the financial goal got a lot more of my effort in October but I’m happy to say I made more obvious progress on that one, so I’m still working toward something at least!

@glassofroses – I hope you’re coping well with everything. That all sounds so difficult but at least you’ve got some support around you. Take care of yourself and remember you’ve got virtual people to lean on if you need.

@RMC1995 – Congratulations on meeting your goal!! I hear maintenance can be it’s own challenge but if you conquered this you’ll conquer that too!!

@mrssunshine78 – I feel like you and I have been following the same path this month. I’ve been keeping up with you through the home page updates. It’s a new month and a new start though! We can get back in the game!! If you need any support, just message me. I got your back if you need it!

@bringbackthejoy – so sorry to hear about your injury. All that work in training for that to happen is big let down. I hope the zombie run gave you a feel for where you’re at in recovery and helped you make a plan about the half marathon. Be gentle with yourself. I ran a half without proper training and my knees have never been the same unfortunately.

@brianneangell08 – I hope you’re doing alright after your accident. I think it was a good idea to give yourself time to calm your mind and body down for a bit. Events like that can affect you more than you realize and a couple pounds is an easy fix in the long run. Overall health and wellbeing should come first.

@2tall4thisworld – You’ve been killing it this month! It’s been a big month of successes for you it seems and I’m so happy for you! I’m glad you’re settling in at school and getting a good routine set up. It’s crazy how much progress you can make when you’re in a good place and follow a good plan! Great job!

All right ladies, I'll see you in the November thread. And you'll see more of me there you did here!

Thank you so much for your heartfelt messages, everyone, I really appreciate them. I'm just trying to hang in there a bit because we've had some setbacks in planning the funeral, as in we haven't been able to, as a coroner was called in -- my dad had a fall, hadn't seen his GP in 12 weeks, and was resuscitated, so the coroner wants to check everything over to make sure it's all good, but until that happens we can't get a death certificate to take to the funeral home to start planning. We were supposed to get an interim one today, but it never came and they're only open Mon-Wed so that they can catch up on paperwork so it'll be Monday now before we get anymore traction.

It's just so tiring to keep having to fight to have the right and ability to lay my dad to rest. I've dropped all the weight I gained and am back at 140.2lbs, mostly through sleep deprivation rather than not eating. My body is only giving me 5 hours of sleep a night despite my best efforts so I'll take it. But yeah, I'm more or less back to normal with my eating, just without snacks. I was in training on Monday, with terrible brain fog, so I hope for better results tomorrow (I tried to donate blood yesterday but the nurse screwed up the needle so I didn't want to tempt it by going). A bit of normalcy while all this is going on. So, that's about it.

I'm proud of y'all and I'll be watching you all go and moving further along in your journeys in November!
