Pass day 2 and 3 for Saturday and Sunday. On a get away weekend with a bus load of friends exploring the Niagara on the lake vineyards. No tracking and ate and drank outside my normal habits. Yesterday got a 2.5 mile walk in. Today nothing.1

3 yeses for me today, by the skin of my teeth!
I did a new workout this morning that was only 10 minutes, so I did another 30 minutes of pilates. I had an engagement session to photograph in the drizzly cold with a load to carry about 2.5 miles. I went to Starbucks to get some sweet warmth. Didn't go over though!

It’s 8:30 p.m. in Turrialba, Cartago, Costa Rica. If you check this place out on Google Earth, you might see me waving hello to you.
As I started reading today’s posts, the room, floor and furniture began to shake. The force intensified so I moved into a door frame. This earthquake did not last more than 30 seconds and it has been followed by one after shock. I was just told it was a 6.7 Richter scale quake. No damage from my position.
That was a UAC first, for me anyway.
Today’s less extraordinary report:
Calories: I did great! I’m really happy that I did so well during a travel day
Tracking: ok
Exercise: lots of walking while hauling suitcases behind me. Maybe I get a couple of strength points for lifting my suitcases and my wife’s x many times3 -

Calories?: Yes. Thanks to exercise calories, which I rarely use.
Tracked?: Yes.
NSV: I logged all my meals this past week (technically, since the challenge started), and I hadn't done that in ages. I feel good about that, but now I know I need to slash my carbs in half.

@snowprincess502 I totally understand about the carbs. Whenever I overdo it on carbs, I feel like crap too. I wish I didn't love them so. The important thing is that the lesson has been learned.2

Today I haven't tracked everything.

I wanted to express to you that you're in my thoughts. I cannot even begin to fathom the degree of pain that comes with losing your child.

YES. 30 MINUTES STEPPING ON AND OFF THE WII BALANCE BOARD TO THE MAMMA MIA SOUNDTRACK AS IT WAS A FAVOURITE OF MY MOM'S WHILE WATCHING THE SLIDESHOW I MADE IN MEMORY OF MY MOM. THE MUSIC AND THE PHOTOS MADE THE TIME GO BY FASTER ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE PHOTOS BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES AS I REALLY MISS MY MOM. THEN I DID 10 MINUTES OF STRETCHING. THEN 20 MINUTES OF RANDOM DANCING TO THE REST OF THE MAMMA MIA SOUNDTRACK.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
NO. ENJOYED SOME OF THE LEFTOVERS FROM THE MEMORY LUNCH I HOSTED YESTERDAY TO REMEMBER MY MOM YESTERDAY ON HER BIRTHDAY. ONE OF THE THINGS I HAD WAS BUTTERSCOTCH PIE WHICH WAS MY MOM'S FAVOURITE DESSERT.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
NO BUT SAID I WOULD START THE MIDDLE OF THIS MONTH SO THAT IS COMING SOON.1 -

NSV - I think my mindset is changing. I’ve had two challenging eating days in a row and made really good choices every time with very little mental effort. I’m passing today not because of food but because I just couldn’t make myself exercise today.2 -

Yes over 20 minutes, but not up to what I intended. Disappointing weekend.
Calories, stayed under by a little over 100, but that was using the few I hazdf from exercise. Gotta do better tomorrow.

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No. My friend is an awesome cook that uses real butter and cream in her cooking.

That’s me out of the winners circle. Don’t feel bad for me, this is the longest I’ve gone through the month before using my pass days. That’s a win right there!

I have to take my first pass day today. I went to the doctor on Friday about the bronchitis I've had and was told to take it easy. I didn't listen and between that and my fibromyalgia I feel like I've been hit by a truck and stayed in bed until 2 pm today. I was only on my feet long enough to make supper and run some laundry. Hopefully all the rest I got today will have me feeling a bit better tomorrow.0 -
