Jan. 11: We’re having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave....for a moment. Freezing rain, possible power outages and 8inches of snow to roll in tomorrow evening into Saturday. So I sucked up the pain, put my big girl pants on and raked up 12.5miles today. Jumped rope for 3.5 miles, walked for 4 miles and Galloway run for 5 miles. My knees are swearing at me.

Jan. 12: 62 this morning and 20’s tonight. Flooding from rain, ice, sleet and now 8 inches of snow by morning. I am so over this weather and this entire week.
Adding 3.75 miles walking and 7 on the bike. At least I got all my outside decorations down before caked in ice for weeks.

Hi guys, I'm back. No purposeful exercise for me this week following the Dopey Challenge but lots of moving around and getting caught up on stuff at home. I have my crazy night bike riding club tonight so I'll be logging some miles later. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'm painting the bedroom - the last bedroom to be repainted since we bought the house 3 years ago. They were all in bright tropical colors. This one is lime green. Well at least for the next half hour LOL.1 -

I hadn’t realised that I’d been missing for quite so long. I was attempting a Run Every Day in January challenge .... that got scuppered!!
On Tuesday my running club (115 members) held an open evening for people who want to do C25K .... 370 packs were issued, 300 people signed up. We have 11 trained run leaders and were hoping to work in pairs. Instead, we each have a group of 30, with support from at least 2 club members. I lead my first session on Tuesday. I’m hoping that the new year, new me crowd will reduce the group a little when they forget their NY resolutions by Valentines Day.....
There is some seriously weird weather happening on your side of the pond .... I hope everyone is safe.
