Daughter walked with me to lunch (1.5km in 12 mins). She did well to keep up. Next time she wants to keep her pace, not mine .
Also roller skated for about 2 hours. I am much faster on hire roller skates than my daughter is on her regular skates. 10+ years of competitive ice skating gives excellent technique .
Aerial obstacle course tomorrow with daughter, her friend, my nephew and my sister.
Daily Strength challenge
Challenge for January 20 is door frame rows ()
3 sets- First set till the point where you can do no more, wait 2 mins
- Second set of 50% of the number you did in the first set (half)
- Third set
The reason for this exercise is push ups and dips work primarily the triceps (pushing). This exercise balances the others by working the biceps (pulling).

TOM for me so I am happy to just maintain. Water weight gain and cravings have been quite the challenge this week.2

@nrkelly04 I think you’re right, whenever I change my workout routine I always fluctuate a bit right at the start so the scale is not a reliable measurement of what’s happening, during that time I always pay more attention to measurements, how my clothes fit, and how I’m feeling to make sure things are working as I’d expect. The scale is only one measure and not always the most reliable in the short term even though that’s the only thing we are technically tracking in this challenge overall health is obviously the ultimate goal, and the weight will always follow eventually. You’re also recovering from being ill so I’m sure you’re body is just trying to get adjusted! Keep doing what’s best for you regardless of what the scale says in the meantime, no apologies necessary as always2
