Kathy, When I went in for a physical last week, my doctor laughed after reading my list of current medical conditions: tinnitus, that's it. At 65 I'm as healthy as a teenager. Wishing you the same but sooner. Your body's been through a lot lately!
Squeaking in at 166, the cat's made me get up to feed them at 8:00, the mutts! Was not able to sleep in. And Chris, 6:00 is NOT sleeping in.

Good job, ladies! Great news, Paula!!

137.8 so I lost almost 2 lbs! Yay!
I think the face on the Whoo symbol looks like it’s disbelieving what’s been said. I won’t be using it either.0 -
Congratulations, Clara! So exciting for us all to be doing so well.
I hit 166 again today. Next goal is getting below the 165. Then 160. Then 155. Happy thoughts.1 -
Good job your three! Clara, I agree with what you think the Woo symbol looks like.
142.2 this morning at 5:00...EGADS!!! a little salt....some peppermint...no lunch...and look what happens!! My scale has gone nuts! How does 1.6 pounds just show up? I walked and worked out yesterday. Man! Okay...spit on the scale and just move on. Get rid of the salt and leave the peppermint in the car. Happy thoughts!
Be strong!
Chris0 -
Chris, It's not fair! I ate diddly yesterday, walked till I dropped, and still gained a pound??

Fantastic Clara. Great going.
Paula you need new scales. That one you have lies! Mine is honest though. It knows when I have been closet snacking!
Chris leave the peppermint in the store! I wish my DH would leave the chocolate there. Still under 150 this morning, but barely.
Worked in the garden some last night. Trying to thin the plants enough so I can walk through them. Had a lot of aphids on the lupine. Hard to spray when the plants of packed tighter than a can of sardines! And I hate to spray anyways. Got to get some dawn soap mixed with some H2O and spray it on them.

I wonder if aphids are what is in our Japanese maple tree. I would post a picture but they are too tiny and too fast. Tiny bugs! I'll try the Dawn soap and water trick to see what happens.
Chris0 -
Aphids are not fast, Chris. In fact they'll stay in one place for quite awhile. That's how ants can farm them. Here's an article, if you're curious.
https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/controlling-aphids-and-ants.htm<-- ant milking an aphid (literally)

Okay...these guys are like tiny gnats. Maybe I should look up tiny bugs living in Japanese maple trees.

Japanese Maple Tree fast tiny bugs - probably Fungus Gnats? but maybe Fruit Flies? articles for Chris:0

Thanks, Paula. I'm going to try the vinegar/dish soap death drink this afternoon. I'll let you know.
We are walking in a few. Picking up R&B after our walk. DDD goes for her Vice Principal interview this morning. Keep your fingers crossed for her and send her good thoughts.
Thank my friends!!

Chris you must snap a photo and show Paula and I. We love a mystery!
Shelley0 -
Mysteries!
Fingers crossed!

141.0 this morning at 4:30. Sleeping in makes a difference!
We've got our walk done. Picking up the boys in 15 mins. Will get pictures...
Have a great day you guys!
Chris1 -
177.2 this morning...struggling.
Kathy1 -
141.0 this morning at 5:00. Fell into some salty food yesterday. Just cleaned the pantry of them. **sigh** I don't even have a good excuse.
The bugs are tiny green guys with translucent wings. I'll look it up. They are friendly. Landed on my hand...waved to me with his tiny foot but wouldn't hang around for picture time.
Walking then...I don't know. We get the boys later this afternoon so the kids can go to dinner and a movie.
Chris1 -
164.5 - broke into the lower 160's. happy.
Don't get too attached to your little friends, Chris. They have heartbreakingly short lives.
paula1 -
Funny thing is...I think they are all gone! We both tried shaking the tree...no little green guys. I'll shake it again in the morning. Could be nap time.
Chris2 -
Maybe they didn't like all the attention?
