OMG it's been HOT here. Fri. it was 103, Sat. it was 104 & today was 101. Friday I left around noon to go to the cabin & had a flat tire on my truck. I was soooo disappointed cuz we just bought 4 new tires &&&& it was to flippin hot to be changing a tire! Of course I'm in no mans land so help showed up when I was getting the nuts put on! LOL I also was in no cell service area so I couldn't have called the DH even if I wanted to. The tire shop that put my new tires on use those air wrenches to tighten the nuts so I pretty much had to jump on my tire iron to get them to loosen. These tires are HEAVY compared to my car tires but I got it handled & it made me realize that "most" almost 60 year old women can not do this!!! I had set my glasses on the rear bumper while I let the tire down from under the truck & drove off with them sitting there. Bye bye to them!! Needless to say after I got to the lake I made a drink & hung out at the water. The water was PERFECT!!! Came home today & laundered lake house bedding & hung it out to dry in the HOT wind!
Got in 2.5 miles of walking on Fri before I headed to the lake ( I'm sure I burned more calories changing that beast of a tire than I did walking that morningLOL) & I rode 12 on my ex bike tonight while waiting for my husband to come in from harvesting.

9th: 6.25 miles, 3.05m running, 3.2 m purposeful walking - MTD 64.75
10th: 4 miles, and a giant game of Tetris as I packed the car and trailer for camping - MTD 68.75
11th: 5.75 miles, travelling, erecting tent ... - MTD 74.5

LOL a definite understatement. whoever said weight loss isn't linear pegged it exactly.
Adding 1.8 from lots of running in Boot Camp.
