26 hour 20 min virtual relay run for Dennis

I can’t view the spreadsheet on my phone but I originally put myself down to run from 8:30-9:30 (11:30-12:30 EST for me), and I’ll still plan on doing a run/walk during that time. It would be cool if we could get everyone to take a pic to represent their run and post it here.2

October 14th 2-4 PM Central . Any or all of of it
or
October 14 midnight to 4AM ( i see @_nikkiwolf_ is available for two hours i during this time. Awesome!) perhaps @garygse would dedicate his morning run in addition to the marathon he ran to cover some of this time?
@Butterchop just let me know, i'll put you in the spreadsheet.
Ok I can do 2-3. I can do until 4 if walking is ok. I can't run that long yet.0 -

Waking is perfectly acceptable!0 -

EDIT: I obviously don't have a calendar...undoing post.0 -
Is there an easy way to figure out what slots still need filling?
I'm coming into this late which is probably the source of my confusion.
I see lists in the thread that don't match other lists, and the spreadsheet confuses me (probably because I wasn't around for the discussion of how it's set up)
The spreadsheet has columns for Runners 1, 2, 3, & 4?
There's a sheet for marathons in different states?
There are sheets for groups of states?

I put my name in at 1500 - 1530 in whatever spreadsheet was in front when I opened it. Most of the slots were full (hope it's right). I think this will be Sunday at 8 am PST. My brain is a little off at the moment, so if anyone has a chance to check if I have translated the time correctly, I would appreciate it.
ETA: Sorry, I meant to ask for someone to check if my time will be Sunday morning (or is it Saturday morning?). I am fairly confident on the hour translation I cannot seem to figure the day. Le sigh.1 -

Dennis wanted to run a marathon in the 50 states, so thats a way to run one for him and record it. His marathons are listed in there too.
Runners 1-4 are just overlap and a way that could communicate potential availability. 1 being have to have this time, 4 eh maybe this time.

You are correct. 8am october 14th.1 -
Thank you @Elise4270 🤓1

Ok I didn't see my name on the spreadsheet. I think I was 2-3 on Oct 14. I am in Alabama so that will be about 5 or 6 miles in AL. If that time is taken I can probably do whatever is available0

Butterchop, I was originally slated for that slot but if you can take it that would be excellent since it's going to be storming here.
I may end up doubling up on someone and running Saturday central time in order to get out there before the storm. Unfortunately I can't take anything after dark due to the park being closed then.0 -
@RunsOnEspresso volunteered for the 8am slot so I will take my name off. I didn’t realize it was taken.1
-
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's progress. Is there a fancy way we are keeping everyone updated? Or just posting in the main group.
It really hits right now. I miss him. Seems silly for someone I only knew a few weeks, but his positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement really stood out.2 -

Ok I can take it our weather is supposed to be really nice. Thanks.0 -

You can run the 8am slot too if you want. Overlap is good, knowing someone else is running with you, carrying Dennis' memory.1 -
This is a bit last minute as we are starting in less than 3 hours (I think I have that right), but I noticed two half hour gaps.
The first gap is hour 6-6.5 (200-230 GMT, which translates to 2200-2230 or 10:00-10:30PM EST). Any takers? I see that @bubblegum2fitness put themselves as "runner 4", so maybe he/she would be willing?
The second gap is hour 19-19.5 (1500-1530 GMT, which translates to 11:00-11:30AM EST). I decided just to shift my slot up a half hour as it looks like Kev A (not sure about username, sorry) will have the hour 20 slot covered too.
I think everything else looks good unless I missed something!0 -
@OSUbuckeye906 I can do block 6. Just had my name in column 4 in case someone else wanted/needed that spot. Will change my name to column 1 now.0
-
Thought I'd post a final lineup of our 24 hour relay as it looks in the spreadsheet just in case something isn't correct and we have a last minute gap we need to fill. For those that listed their complete username, I tagged you in your first slot as a reminder. Also, some half hour slots weren't listed, but if you had signed up for the slot, I assumed it was for the full hour. I'm excited for this to unfold. Has anyone let Dennis' family know that we are doing a relay in his honor this weekend?

@Elise4270 Okay, will do. I didn’t want to step on any toes. I wasn’t caught up in the other thread when I signed up here.1

Epic. You ran at night in those conditions? So proud to know you and be a part of this group. Off to my event in about an hour. We run when we run. KeepRunningFatkids!
Have a great Run @Orphia.
Thanks to @Orphia and everyone for the kind words, still feel a little foolish - right time - wrong start day.
Since I was running across midnight - from one day into the next I believe that is what got me crossed up, I concentrated to much on the time ⏲ and not enough on the actual day. 🗓
Will be doing a walk tonight for 1 hr at the appointed time ( 2300 MST ) and tomorrow at 1600 MST ( Hr 26.2) will also hit the trails for a short outing.8 -
I now know I should be able to run slot 5...and as @noblsheep had mentioned not feeling well, I've got this hour covered.2
-
I'll be running sometime tomorrow but I'll likely be traveling or sick at home. Speed demon and i will be keeping him in mind on the run. (I'll post here when i start. I'll be out between an hour or two. In case someone needs a break or a friend)1
-
I hope the run went well for everyone
