Guess who forgot to update yesterday? It's been that kind of week where I don't really know what day it is. Just realized I have church today and that means yesterday was Saturday and my day to update. Ooops.
@vhuber - hope you are continuing to heal.
Hang in there everyone! Hope you have a great day!0 -

@clepant and anyone else who needs a good laugh - Dave Barry wrote this great article on his colonoscopy - I read it in the forums here before I did mine. I had tears in my eyes because it's hysterical.

or google Dave Barry colonoscopy and it'll show up.
Adding 1.5 miles.
That artical was too funny and definitely true. I had my first one at 60 and had a terrible experience. First, I followed my prep to the tee. I went in to have it T 11:30 and never got in till 3:30. I kept asking why it was taking so long as they pumped an I. In me to give me some nutrition. The doctor was not happy with me when I woke and said my prep was not good. I found out that I had a tortuous colon and.....this was her first day performing all these procedures. A bad prep and a newbie did not make for a good combo. Grumble, grumble, repeat in five years.
Advance to this one. I cut out heavy foods starting Monday, Ate a soft diet till my faste day, and it went well with a two step prep rather than chugging the gallon bottle. Repeat in five years. All clear. I had a learning curb and now I know how to do it with the kinky colon.0 -
Nov. 18: Sorry for being MIA.
First of all my knee has blown up again. I also feel like something tore..an ACL maybe. I mentioned to my ortho doctor that I really did not want an injection because I heard they weekend tendons and ligaments and I swear that is exactly what is occurring. He told me that it wasn’t true. At certain times I am unable to bear weight or straighten my leg.
On top of this, we had the worse ice storm since 2010. Most people have been out of power since earlyFriday morning. Trees have been desimated. We had a limb hit our power line to our house at 3:45 AM and our power went off and on sporadically. Schools with no power, friends and family just getting power on tonight, Sunday. I just kept praying that our big oaks did not go down with most of their leaves still on them. My hubby was hooking up generators to furnaces so people could have heat. We parked our vehicles in a neighbors driveway just in case some of our oak limbs came off. Some of those branches dropped 7 feet and were touching my Suburban roof.
I went out Friday to take pictures and while I was getting a shot, I heard cracking over my head and started running.A pine limb landed where I was just standing and would have probably killed me.
I have been resting pretty much since then. I forced myself to my cousin’s daughter’s wedding ceremony Saturday afternoon and could barely walk to my vehicle after because of my knee. Tomorrow, I will call the doctor. I have so much debris to clean up yet too. Yuck!
Adding 12 miles for the past three days.
TTD. 162 miles
Here is some pics. I was following my hubby and wanted to take a photo of my neighbors old building in the snowfall. And crash..down comes the limb.
Here is a link to video clip of my school campus.

@Clepant - Wow! That looks miserable. Glad you had generators. Sorry about your knee. I've never been through that so I can't really relate, but it sounds absolutely miserable. I hope they have a solution other than just another injection.0
