Feel very welcome to join, we usually post our weigh Sundays and use the 'Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet' also in 'Announcements' to track weight.
We use this thread to encourage each other and to add our weight as well if we want to and generally chat!
It's fun and it's been working and we've lost a shed load of weight between us. It seems to keep us going and even if we go up occasionally (and who doesn't!) we get back to it and continue the journey.

I can't believe it's almost February2 -
January was a good comeback to keto month for me. Despite the fact I had to hold back on exercise, while I recovered from shoulder surgery, I lost 10 pounds. My success was due to the discipline to eat relatively keto clean for the month.
For Febuary, my goal will be to duplicate the discipline that kept me fat adapted last month. I also want to continue to eat keto clean without logging what I eat. Logging everything I eat has worked well for me in the past. However, it is not something I think I can sustain. I want keto to become a Way of Existing (WOE).
In my mind a WOE means something I will and can do forever. Keto has transformed me from an obese unhealthy person to someone approaching healthy ranges in most health measurements. In addition to numbers, I feel and look better than I did during the years I struggled with my weight/health before keto.
Although I’ve struggled staying fat adapted the last 6 months, over the last year, I have learned how to stay relatively keto clean. I’m on the downhill side of surgery recovery and I’m ready to renew my keto WOE. I know what works for me, and I believe I can do it intuitively instead of logging, planning and prepping for every keto step I take. I Keto.

If you look towards the bottom of the spreadsheet you will see some tabs for other sheets. ( 2018. inactive) Click on those tabs and you can see past results from our group. Next month, Febuary, Nikki will add to January 2019 and she will continue that each month as the year progresses. She has been really good at providing and maintaining this awesome spreadsheet for us. This spreadsheet display of results is on my Mount Rushmore of motivation.
It holds me accountable and motivates me to strive for positive results each month. Every time I've had to log bad news, it makes me think about what I did to get those results. And when I get to show off good results, it motivates me to do even more. I this spread sheet and Nikki!2 -

I started 12/31 on a clean strict keto WOE. January was a pretty good month. Lost 14.4 lbs and lost 17" overall.

Here we go again! I’m giving up coffee for the umpteenth time. Last year (2018) I gave it up for about 3 months. Probably, the longest caffeine free string in my adult life? Anyway, life kind of intervened, kicking me off the caffeine free wagon and back to addicted once more.
So, what is different this time is, I’m replacing my bad coffee habit with a practice I’m hoping will be more beneficial to my overall health. I’ve managed to wean myself off coffee for most of the new year. Starting today, I’m going to begin a regimen of daily doses of cod liver and CBD oils.
I’ve researched and found good promises about both oils. I’m especially hopeful for the healing affects I’ve heard from testimonies and research. Specifically. the positive results on sleeping and inflammation are most intriguing to me.
I’m hoping that this will be just the ticket I need to help me recover quickly from my shoulder surgery. I recognize that this my sound crazy to many of you. But, consider this! A little over a year ago I heard a crazy idea about eating fat to lose fat. I tried it and it transformed me from an unhealthy, obese person to someone on who is healthier, happier and as clear headed as I’ve been for years. I keto!
So, here’s a challenge. Do you have anything you think you’d like to give up? And, if you do, what would you consider replacing it with?
If you accept this challenge, state publicly on this forum, what you'd consider giving up and what you'd replace it with. I, and I'm sure other members of this group, will check on you periodically, to see how your challenge is going.1 -

So I was off the bandwagon for most of Dec 2019. I was away in France and celebrating the holidays with loved ones. I put back on about 10lbs (of the 26 I’d lost) and have lost nearly 4 of those lbs so far this year doing lazy keto (no good tracking and letting some bad carbs in).
This month I’m doing a true keto reboot and going back to logging EVERYTHING to help avoid all those sneaky carbs that have been slowing my progress.

January was a struggle for me in regards to eating and lowering my macros again. I dunno how I did it a year ago! Just one day, BOOM! Low-carb! And now... Finally, I'm getting my daily carb counts down to under 20g, but wow, it was not easy. I got used to eating when I wanted, snacking when I wanted (all low carb foods still), so going back to a regular eating schedule has been super difficult and took the entire month of January to get here.
I'm back on track. I'm going to lose the last of this holiday weight gain and keto on! Hope everyone does well in their endeavors!

Howdy! I'm back to keto after being off of it 4.5 years. Huge mistake! While checking in to encourage friends, I have watched my own weight go up as my health declined. Hoping to make a permanent change this go. I have my wife on board now so things will be much easier! I started back on keto two weeks ago and don't have a current weight. Two weeks ago, however, I was the heaviest I have ever been!
