Its been kinda fun to try and find my "break even cal limit." I have turned this diet into a game lol. I track everthing that goes in my mouth and I am lossing what I expect. Going to drop my fat 17g this week and see if I can lose 1-1.5 lbs this week. KETO STRONG!!!!!5 -

Hello everyone, I can see keto diet work for me as I'm steady losing weight .I'm also very please that my husband is on low carbs diet now.He is no longer craving for sugary foods .He has Type 2 Diabetic.We share keto foods but he gets small portions of carbs as well.I track and measure all my foods.How else am I going to know if I eat correct quantity of foods ? No guessing game for a newbie like me. Good luck everyone.6 -
Just returned from a week of vacation which was quite hard to stick with my Keto plan on.. this is where the whole “way of eating vs. diet” thing is helping me keep things in perspective. In the past I would have said, “Well, I blew it”, and likely given up but I’m determined to carry on! Even though I didn’t do as well as I thought I may be able to, I also realized how much I actually missed my Keto foods and the myriad benefits that come with it! On the plus side I only gained back 3 lbs and was a lot more physically active with tonnes of walking, water activities etc.

Hang in there!! You’re logging here now which is an important step for both accountability and also to remember why you’re on this Keto path! I do agree though it is hard while traveling to keep the motivation going!

So I was off the bandwagon for most of Dec 2019. I was away in France and celebrating the holidays with loved ones. I put back on about 10lbs (of the 26 I’d lost) and have lost nearly 4 of those lbs so far this year doing lazy keto (no food tracking and letting some bad carbs sneak their way in).
This month I’m doing a true keto reboot and going back to logging EVERYTHING to help avoid all those sneaky carbs that have been slowing my progress.
Feb. 03 - 188.8! Yay! Goodbye 90's!
Feb. 10 - 188.0 That’s the progress I want to see!!! Little by little it’s going in the right direction.

This was a stressful month, so I'm not surprised that I didn't see much change. At least I didn't go up! a 2 Lb loss is still a loss. I'm excited about March! See you all there!
