It was a stressful day. My area got hit with a lot of snow last night but not enough to close school. It's hell trying to keep 5th grades focused on ANYTHING when there's snowballs to be made and thrown.2 -

Exercise: nothing extra deliberate, but 12000+ steps and I was active until 10;00 p. M. - weaving in the evening.

I was a bit under the weather today and didn’t sleep well last night. So instead of going to the gym I took a really long nap.
Goals - I’m still feeling my last workout. My body is sore! My goal for tomorrow is to get two hours of exercise.4 -

@WA_Teacher Woo! 5th graders and snow....I think that it would have been snow science day-states of matter and snowflake formation/weather properties day....you know....so the teacher can play in the snow too!

My new scale is going back today. This was weighing fully dressed with shoes and after breakfast and a drink on the BP tank scale at work. I'll have to figure out what to do with my start weight once I get a scale that works so that it is not an unfair advantage.4 -

Y'all - I am having the hardest time staying focused for the last week or so. ARGH. Last month was so good for me and I feel like I am going to struggle simply not to gain this month.
Anyway, I thought I'd share a couple really yummy (and easy) recipes that I've made recently - I know @benbowers was struggling with eating repetition and getting bored and I thought some more of you might be too.
Indian Fried Cabbage (I added a cup of peas instead of 3/4 cup)
Quinoa Salad - this makes the best meal with a piece of grilled chicken or fish - and it keeps well, so if you make it early in the week, you can eat it at lunch for a while
Sweet Potato and Bacon Fritatta - I think I've made this three times in 2019, but I'm a sucker for goat cheese and for sweet potatoes.6 -
