I live in Port Angeles, WA. It is beautiful but I am not brave enough to go out for a walk. We have more snow in the forecast for tonight. ❄️

I'm gonna catch up with everyone in the morning. Pretty sure I have the flu and I have been in bed all day...about to take a shower and go back to be. I love my "surface of the sun, oh my god, who pays my electric bill?!" hot water shower. I am about to blister off at least 3 layers of skin and it is going to be awesome! Looking forward to my Raiders of the Lost Ark look! Nighty night!

Day 2 of not getting out of bed. I couldn't even stay awake to read or watch tv...just slept under the electric blanket on high all day....my cats are loving it at least! I'm about to go take another one of those "surface of the sun" hot showers that I am loving right now. I'm sure that I am going to go through the stages of grief when I open up next months power bill....someone remind me how great these showers are when that happens.

Awesome bike ride today with a friend. I wish I could share the beautiful views from today with all of you.
I put my phone down on Friday and Saturday. It felt nice to check out for a minute (or two days!). Even though I didn’t track those days I feel good about what I ate, my activity level, and the sleep I got. I focused less on inputting/counting calories and the minutes I excercised to focus more on eating responsibly (enough to feel energized and fueled) and being active in general. With No TV, no phone, I found myself dancing in the kitchen, running up the stairs, chasing my dogs around, raking leaves, riding bikes, stretching out on the floor and paddling a canoe! Good times all around5 -

@WA_Teacher I haven't read the Red Shirts, but I have read the Old Man's war series and the Androids dream. I found that his books are hit or miss ranging from really good to don't do drugs kids! I'll have to pick up the Red Shirts since that is a stand alone and I don't have to get into another series. I'm tired of waiting for new series books to come out....gonna start just reading dead authors.1

@benbowers doing great! I still haven't gotten to the store to return my scales either. I haven't a clue what my weight is going to be after 3 weeks of weighing at the 911 center. I'm still going to have to weight there tomorrow too if I am well enough to go back in.1 -
