I started UAC last May. February was the first month that I didn't make it to the winner's circle. It motivated me to amp up my game for March. Every time I have a setback with anything in my life I get super motivated to go hard. This week I have gone on a 3 day water fast with 2 days after that transitioning with bone broth. I started researching water fasts last year and always wanted to try one to cleanse my body and challenge myself. I am 48 hours in and I feel great! I'm looking forward to March UAC to start and get to know all the new people and keep up with the old. I love this group!

I have been trying to find this in chart form for some time now ... "cause I can never remember the specifics.
Please look it over, and as we move into a new month we should each determine what progress we have made so far - how far we each still have to go .... and whether our MFP profile expectations are still appropriately set to our new, current reality.

March will be my second month - Barring total disaster tomorrow or Thursday, I should be in the Winner's Circle for February. I started my health and weight loss journey at the end of December. Sadly, this is the third time in the last decade I have taken this journey, I lost the weight, and then gained it back with friends.
I turn 40 in July and I am determined that I will not spend my 40s cycling between taking care of myself and making good choice and getting so stressed out I just eat and drink everything. At the moment, I weigh 192.5lbs, my goal weight is between 140-150. I absolutely intend this change to stick for the rest of my life, and the February challenge was quite helpful in making me take meticulous note of what I am eating, and in forming good habits.
Bring on March!!!

I’m game for the challenge. I need to get back to the daily grind!6

@Kwinnero We have very similar stats (I’m 5’3, 173 and I’ve lost a total of 70lbs -the last 40 with MFP) I track like it’s my J-O-B! Oh and I’ve been Keto since August with my husband, being part of a team makes it so much easier. So clearly we are twinsies!
Hi Everyone!
Being part of THIS team has been great. March will be my third UAC month. One time in the winner’s circle and one just a winner.
So far my most valuable lesson has been February NOT making the circle. Accepting my pass days and moving on was a really big deal.4 -
Another new member here! Somehow, I've drifted off track; accountability to someone other than just myself is just what I need. Looking forward to being part of the team!8

New to this challenge and looking forward to the accountability and positive encouragement.6

I am ready to start March with a renewed mindset and focus. First item on my list is to have accountability so I am joining you for this challenge. Thanks!4

Welcome Newbies and also welcome back oldies.
I have been on this group for over 1 year.
These are some of the sad but wonderful truths I have learned in this journey.
It is about my health /your health. This is one thing in this life that nobody can do for me or you (us).
- Nobody can exercise on my or your behalf.
- Nobody can keep track of what I/ you eat, bite, lick, drink, etc on my/your behalf
- Nobody can stay within my/your calorie budget on my/your behalf

Please do not give up. Please, please, please do not drop out when you fall off the wagon. Get up. We will help you dust off the dirt
This group is very accommodating, very encouraging, and there is no judgement
We are very supportive.
I will be here, some of us will still be here either loosing, maintaining or conquering bad habits. Every small step will put you in the right direction.9 -
New to this challenge and pretty excited to have some accountability5

First timer. Sounds like a fun challenge!7

New to this challenge -- have been doing relatively well with exercising and logging food for the last two months, and I want to keep it up!7

I'm Bette and new to this also.. used to use MFP many years ago! I need accountability to reach my ultimate goal of 132 lb. Currently sitting at 200lb. I am going to create a habit of daily tracking as that's what I have dropped in the past!5

Looking forward to month 3 in the UAC! Have a week long spring break trip for baseball in the middle of the month so it will be tough, but determined to.make the winners circle again this month. Good luck to everyone this month!6

Hi all, this is my 2nd month of UAC. In February I crashed out spectacularly both with illness and a busy end of the month.
I don't think I will get Winner's Circle this month as I am going away for my birthday, but I would like to do better than last month.
The strategies that work for me are:
Prepping and pre-logging as much as possible, breakfast as a minimum.
Exercising early in the day.
Not eating breakfast too early (which leads to the 9am snack and the early lunch etc)
Basically I try and do the good stuff before I get a chance to do the bad stuff!!!7 -
First timer. I'm going to give this a try. I need the accountability so that I can hopefully start making progress and stop constantly losing and gaining the same 5lbs.5

Total newbie to the challenge but really looking forward to it! I will own up straight away that Day 1 is going to be a Pass Day on the calorie front (planned) but the accountability of all those other days is what I'm here for6

Excited for March UAC! Been with the group for one year now and it had made all the difference in my weight loss journey. I had a slow start to the year after knee surgery, but as of last week have been able to ramp back up to my activities.
March is body composition month at my gym, and I've been really looking forward to it after my slower winter.
Overall goal is still weight loss, overall I've kept off 35 lbs, my goal is to drop 35 more. Taking it in 10 lb increments.
Have a great March everyone!6 -
Hi everyone and welcome to the new team members!
So excited to begin another month with UAC. February's loss was only 2.8 pounds. I was under each day and exercised each day so I need to check my diaries and see what needs to be changed up. I did lower my calorie intake a few days ago and try not to eat back my exercise calories but always end up dipping in. Here's to a great month of great success.
Birthday this month so hopefully will still stay on track with that.6 -
This is my third month in UAC. I missed the winners circle in January, but I got my ducks in a row and stuck it out through February. In March, I hope to really cement down some of my habits and make things more natural for me.

I am a prelogger too, although I don't do much ore-prepping. I find it critical to my success. I don't do well if I get to dinner time and find I only have 300 calories left for the day!! Also, I like to have calories left for an evening snack.5 -
New to group and excited to start challenge!8

Hi everyone! I am new to MFP after having used it sporadically over the years. I am a serial WW member but haven't actually lost weight on that plan so I've decided to go it alone and focus on changing my lifestyle rather than sticking to a diet plan.
I would love to join this group please? However I am not sure I will find this thread again so if anyone can tell me how to save it where I will find it that would be awesome!3 -

Hi Linda! Glad to see you here2 -
Hello,my name is Alyson a.k.a stella7×7, this is my 9th month with this group. I've been doing MFP since 2016 I started out at 314.4 lbs. I'm down now at 237.2. I still have about 70 lbs to go. I've lost about half of me in in. Over all I believe its 54 maybe a little more. I'm great great for this group, it helps to keep me accountable. I have 2 dogs so I'm guaranteed at least that walking. But I do walk everyday unless raining an extra 20 minutes down my road.which is hilly so that helps. I also do water aerobics because I have 2 bad knees and back. If I cant do those I also do strength training here at the house.1

@ange589, first go here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/131420-ultimate-accountability-challenge-march-2019
Scroll down to see the daily pages for checking in. I click on the star of the next five dates and that puts them in my favorites. Then, each day, go to "community" and click on the black star at the top right of the page. That will bring up your favorite groups. Then, click on that date's sign-in page and log your stats. I then click the yellow at the top of the page and that "files" it for me and that date won't pop up again.
Hope this helps!
