BG numbers are always so curious to me. At about 6 PM last night, I had a chicken leg quarter for supper - so no carbs. My lower morning numbers seem to be associated with more protein with the evening meal.0 -
88 today, which is lower than my usual. And I had a ton of carbs at a late dinner last night - coleslaw, bread, dairy, fruit. My morning numbers seem have a lot more to do with my exercise the day before and my stress levels than with what I eat. And they are not a good predictor of how my levels will respond to food during the day. Considering that the accuracy of a home meter will vary 10% from strip to strip, and that was for the most accurate meter tested, as long as they are within the same twenty point range, I don’t pay much attention to them.0
