Weigh in day: Monday
Starting weight: 184
Week 1: 182
I was bracing myself for an even higher number than last week. Our A/C is broke so it was too hot to bake cookies. A couple of days I refused to cook at all because of the heat and we had fast food which I thought would really cause the scale to go up anyway. But by the end of the week I got the grill going and had better food choices.5 -
I am five consecutive days now eating at a deficit. (Well, technically, I was 50 over yesterday.) My foot is still sore, but only slightly, and I am faithfully rehabbing it as per the foot specialist's instructions. No exercise yet, but I need to change that, (and soon!!), even if it is not walking based. I have a 30 day exercise plan using fitness bands that I have been meaning to try. I actually weighed in for real on Friday (the perks of being able to manipulate the spreadsheet!) and I plan to do the same again this coming Friday and actually post it for all to see. I need to stop hiding behind my administrator's desk!!
I am curious about the exercise plan that uses fitness bands. Where did you find it? I have fitness bands. I am more motivated when I have a plan. But I am not so good at putting the plan together myself because I don't have a lot of fitness knowledge.0 -

@brandi_84, it was on the nbc news web site, under diet and fitness. It was called "A one-month resistance band workout you can do anywhere."
https://www.nbcnews.com/better/lifestyle/one-month-resistance-band-workout-you-can-do-anywhere-ncna965461
It came out for the month of February, seeing as it is a 28 day workout.1 -

@brandi_84, you obviously made some good food choices to lose two pounds! Maybe the heat (which I am having a hard time comprehending from my location!) caused you to sweat more and drink more, too! Well done, regardless!!

Great job everyone! I will be honest, I had plenty of calories saved up this week, and had no problem biting off the head of a defenseless chocolate rabbit... So I did at least enjoy a little of that easter chocolate(thank you 50%off rack).

4/29/2019 Mini Challenge
Tracked: Yes
Under: Yes
Exercise: Yes, 45 minutes elliptical and 31minutes c25k. Also, day 6 of my 30 day ab challenge.
I am just about to go out for my session of c25k shortly. I figured I would post now, because I have to hurry up and get my c25k done, and make my lunch for tomorrow. I didn't sleep too well last night, and just want to try to get to bed early tonight. I am hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow, and am hoping that my ab challenge that I have been doing doesn't bring me too much water retention(it is really basic bodyweight stuff, but you never know).

Weekly Challenge: Monday
tracking: Yes
calories: yes
exercise: yes 20 min yoga (tried eagle pose today - definitely need more practice) and a walk with the dog to a friends house (about 15 min one way) for meatless Monday I tried roasted chickpeas for the first time since I was a kid - they didn’t suck
Overall though my tracking was tight on the calories at the end of the day and I’m still a little hungry and really tired (had to get up at 4 something to take the husband to the airport) soooo I think I’m going to bed very, very early. I mean, 7:45 is totally reasonable right? Hahaha sigh.

Hello, Big Butts!
My name is Mikayla! Im a 22 year old New Yorker and I’ve been in this challenge since September. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs throughout my journey and haven’t truly dedicated myself to this challenge since the first few months. It has kept me aware of what I eat consistently though!
My current weight is somewhere around 164lbs and my ultimate goal weight is 135/140lbs. Luckily a new month is upon us and I’m rededicating myself to getting healthy! Good luck to each and everyone of you this month going forward!4 -

I was hoping to have a loss this week, but I did think it was possible for a gain this week, so I will take a maintenance week. Looking forward to pushing through to next Tuesday and hopefully I will have a loss then!2 -

@cmhubbard92, maybe the decapitated rabbit couldn't bite you in the butt, but maybe he got a good kick in before his hind legs disappeared, too! Just kidding, lol! But seriously though, every week can't be a great week, so a maintain is better than a gain, like you said! Do everything you can to make this week a great week!!1
