F2F-WLC CHALLENGES:
- - WEEKLY GROUP CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by teams for the entire group)
- - MODERATOR'S CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by the moderators of the group)
- - INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGES (Challenges within teams themselves)

Team Weekly challenges will be announced in later communications

(Note:The team order for challenges follows the team order in the group standing sheet on the spreadsheets)

HOW OUR CHALLENGES WORK:
We have 4 total possible challenges and NONE are mandatory. Our challengers can do none or all it's up to them. So we have...

The F2F Weekly TEAM Challenge - posted each week on Sunday in the announcements by the team who is assigned that particular week (see above for your week). This is for the F2F Group as a whole.

F2F Moderators Challenge/Topic of the week - This challenge is provided each week in the announcements area. One of the moderators will either provide a challenge that will involve anything fitness, health, and nutrition.

Individual Team challenges - these are challenge done within your own team. You can chose daily, weekly, or monthly challenges (weekly seems to work best). You can make this whatever you wish as long as it's health and fitness related.

Note: If for some reason your team is unable to provide the weekly challenge please let me know ahead of time so another team can take your place or so I can provide the challenge.

Good Luck Teams: Please let us know if there is anything wrong or if you notice something that needs to be fixed or modified. Everything seems ready to go for APRIL. Registrations are almost done and we have quite a few new challengers. Make sure you are going into your new team threads to welcome anyone who has started posting. Let’s make our newbies feel welcome and show them some F2F love!!

THANKS, YOUR MODS

I am Mel, a team captain, and I had Greg beat on number of times I cheated death before my 21st birthday. I was preemie in 1969and they did not think I would make it to 3 months old, I put myself in a coma at 7 by wrecking a bike, and at 20 my car was hit head on by a truck. I should not have walked away from that, but I did, with only some knee damage. I have permanent neurological deficits from the bike accident. But I turned 50 in January and I am still kicking.

I've been married to Denni for 27 years, we have 4 kids (13 next month to 25) and a dog, the Baroness of Random Destruction. (She chews pencils, unattended food of any kind, and varmints and has destroyed the deck steps more than once. I don't know what she has against them.)

I weighed 245 right after the last kid was born. I lost the same 20 pounds over and over and then joined MFP in August 2013 because my ortho threatened me with a knee replacement. I weighed 166 on Monday. Goal is 155.

Hello all, I’m Kai. I have three kids, two sons 18 and 13, a 12 wishing she was 18 daughter, two dogs and cats. My mother in law and her chihuahua also live with me so I have a pretty full house. About eight years ago I was diagnosed with MS and my mobility really depends on how I feel day to day. I’ve been overweight most of my life, but it really crept up after I had my kids. My highest weight was 382 pounds.

About six months ago I had a lot of trouble getting out of bed due to a bad flare and my husband had trouble helping me. I finally got up, but it made me realize that I needed to lose weight before I ended up bed bound. So far I’ve lost over 40 pounds and hope to get under 300 pounds before my anniversary in October.

    Goal for this month:

    Get to 329.8

I have not eaten enough today and I won't. Some days are like that for me.
I did do a really short run/walk on the Greenbelt. (Run 2 min/walk 1) I have been released to full exercise by my surgeon l and I wanted to test my ankle. I have to run on the grass beside the paved path or I will give myself a bulging disc. I only did 1.1 miles, but it's better than nothing.

GOOD MORNING WARRIORS AND WELCOME TO THE KICK OFF OF THE MAY CHALLENGE.
IT WAS A TOUGH LAST FEW DAYS OF APRIL FOR ME AS YOU ALL WELL KNOW
    ...
HOWEVER I AM BACK IN FULL FORCE AND IT'S TIME TO KICK PHAT *kitten* TO THE CURB
APRIL WAS NOT A GOOD MONTH FOR SOME OF US ME INCLUDED. I GAINED BACK 7-8 PDS OF THE 14 I HAD LOST IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS OF 2019. SO IT'S BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD FIGURING OUT WHAT WORKED AND WHAT DIDN'T AND MOVE FORWARD WITH THOSE RESULTS.

@SLIMn2016 DECIDED TO MOVE AND SO I AM GOING TO BE THE TEAM MOTIVATOR....I AM STEPPING AWAY FROM THE WEEKLY SPREAD SHEET STUFF THAT MODS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND I AM GOING TO CONCENTRATE ON MOTIVATION FOR ENTIRE GROUP. MY GOAL IS PUT THE FUN BACK INTO THE CHALLENGE AND SEE WHAT IS WORKING WITH OTHER TEAMS AND WHAT IS NOT AND INCORPORATE THAT INTO THE CHALLENGE.
WE PICKED SOME NEW MEMBER FOR OUR TEAM AND I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME TO THE WORKOUT WARRIORS
    @tmartin @XOX_LOTSA_XOX @JamieD328
PLEASE GIVE THEM A HEARTY WARRIOR WARM WELCOME TO OUR TEAM

LET US ALL HAVE A PRODUCTIVE AND FUN MONTH OF MAY
    GREG

My sincere condolences Greg. I just finished reading all the posts. Thank you to the F2F group for accepting me. Good morning team members! I am very thankful that I was allocated to this group. I relate to the name. It has not been the easiest of years, but I am fighting on and not giving up!

My heaviest weight was 165 kg, way before MFP. I was born as an overweight baby and I have never been slim and I really mean never. It did not stop me to live a full and healthy life and I always participated at school, university and as an adult. I was the largest person on the sports teams or stage, doing shot put, chess, dances and what I could.

I was diagnosed with a permanent back condition a year ago. I have several pinched nerves, among other problems and spinal decompression surgery is not possible. I commenced with ‘rehabilitation’ exercises in April 2018. I can’t exactly rehabilitate my condition, but I can make all my muscles stronger and I am continuing with it.

So here I am and like many others, I have the spirit of a warrior but a back condition that changed my life, so I have to change continuously to enjoy a reasonable quality of life. Please inform what the custom is regarding weighing in. Do we round up, down or post the exact kg plus grams. Good luck everyone.
