@brandi_84, well, what can I say....at least it's not a roller coaster anymore! Looking back on the last three weeks, does maintaining make sense with what you did, or are you generally baffled by the lack of movement on the scales?

@miakelaa, no apologies necessary.....you lost almost a pound, and have lost for three weigh-ins in a row. No one can ask for more than that! But, that being said, if you want to ramp things up for week #4, then no one will try to stop you!!

@enyagoboom, if you were feeling at all inclined, I would love your taco pepper boat and sweet potato fajita recipes!!

The sweet potato fajita is from hello fresh: https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes/2018w50-r8-sweet-potato-fajitas-5bcf4c6b30006c014c486e82/

where it says units, just go with medium sized veggies. it's calorie heavy (720 i think for three) but when i've done a 40 minute walk/run, it works in my favor and is filling without being stuffing.

    https://skinnyms.com/skinny-bell-pepper-nachos-recipe/

seriously yummy. I go full fat cheese, so that ups the calories there, but it's worth it. I also use greek yogurt instead of sour cream where i can. i like that the greek yogurt is more tart than sour cream and less calories (and more protein which i seriously lack)

    :yum:

    @enyagoboom, thanks for sharing!

Going to be a rough week for tracking and meal planning. My parents are in town for my daughter’s graduation so not being at work will potentially get me off track. Going to do my best though.

@pkg1991, that's all you can do...just try your best!! Enjoy your daughter's graduation week! Does that mean she goes away next year?

    Thursday, May 9th Mini Challenge

    Tracking of food: Yes
Under calories: Yes, by the skin of my teeth! I got a salad at the brewery I went to, and it was surprisingly delicious!
    Exercise: 16 minute walk
Net steps: 6,834: Worked at my desk all day scheduling students for next year, and dinner with friends. Not a lot of steps, but at least I got in a short walk and managed to make my calorie goal.

@susanpiper57, not quite 20 minutes, but we'll call it close enough!

Yes! My mistake! I had posted for the 11th earlier in the day and copied what was the same and added the bowling. Oops!

The last couple of weeks I was focused on maintaining and not gaining. I had pulled a muscle in my back, which took some time to recover from. And then TOM came which made it even worse along with cravings and swelling. Honestly, I expected the scales to move the wrong way. I was quite relieved to see I was at least successful in maintaining.
I am getting back into loser mode - tracking and exercising.

    Weekly Challenge
    Day: monday
    Tracking: yes
    Calories: yes
Exercise: yes - 3 mile walk with Brody and yoga.

Today was a frustrating food day. My smoothies were suuuuper high in calories (chocolate hazelnut but it also had avocado, banana, kale, and something else i think and then i added flax and chia seeds so yay calories) so I started off the day higher than normal, and couldn’t get to feeling satiated.

Then i realize the sweet potato fajitas are clocked in at 880 cals, almost 100 more than it should be - my fault for how i entered it i guess - so my tracking is all out of whack.

But. Instead of fudging the numbers i did yoga and came in under by the skin of my teeth. The truth will out on Thursday though. Duh-duh-duuuuuh (dramatic music for emphasis). If all goes well I’ll be starting week two of my z25k and avoiding zombies. Woooo.

Isn’t it frustrating when something that is full of nutrients is also full of calories?!! But good for you to walk it off, and then yoga it off!

    5/7/2019 Weigh-in
    Weigh-In day: Tuesday

    Previous week: 219.1
    Today's weight: 218.5
    Loss: -0.6lb

    There's something! I'll take it!

Yay for a loss!! Hopefully now that the scales gave budged, they will continue moving and take more with them, like a giant snowball!

I'm definitely hoping so! I did notice that I've been losing more around my TOM, so that may bring lower scales next week! It could be a new pattern I have fallen into, despite doing all the right things every week!
