Hello again and also welcome to anyone looking at this and wondering if this is for you, just give it a try!
You can post your weight here and also in the Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet which Nikki updates.
Feel very welcome to join, we usually post our weigh Sundays and use the 'Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet' also in 'Announcements' to track weight.
We use this thread to encourage each other and to add our weight as well if we want to and generally chat!
It's fun and it's been working and we've lost a shed load of weight between us. It seems to keep us going and even if we go up occasionally (and who doesn't!) we get back to it and continue the journey.

I'm new to keto too. Last week was my first week. First couple days was a little rough cause I wasn't for sure how to cook keto so I went on penterest and did a search for keto recipes. Once I started cooking keto recipes it got easier. Yesterday I started week 2 so hopefully it'll be easier this week!6 -

Welcome to all the new keto people!
Starting July at around 245 lb. Leaving soon for 2 weeks of RV camping. If I loose 1 pound a week I will be happy. Always hoping for more, but being realistic. Gone almost 3 weeks in July and 2 kids birthdays and at other people's houses. Overall goal for July is 6 lbs loss, but anything under 240 will see me doing a happy dance! No, you can not watch!4 -

Hi everyone! My first month weighing in and doing keto was June.... I lost 8 lbs! I also use the app ‘zero’ to track my 18hr fasts, plus I really try to walk a lot! I’m not one to plan ahead, so this forum is kinda pushing me to do just that... plan for MY weight loss. So, I would hope I could plan on losing another 8 lbs for July!

First of all, welcome to everyone new and hello again to all the oldsters! For new people there's a lot of info about but IMO The Diet Doctor site is really helpful and has really good recipes. There are also things like two week food plans and lots of info. There's also a great deal of information and links in the 'stickies' where you found this Challenge.
For anyone into the science behind Keto and fat adaption which is what it's about, try reading Amy Berger at Tuit Nutrition. She's very down to earth and makes me laugh and want to shake her hand at times!
Don't get caught up in the Bullet Proof coffee world it's really not necessary nor is anything other than good old wholesome fresh food. There's no magic formula artificial stuff you can take. It's about changing what you eat and being aware of it and what it does to your body and therefore changing to fuel your body runs on.
This takes a while but once you've adapted to not running on carbs then the odd lapse won't kill you. Keeping up those lapses might or at least you'll gain weight!
Here comes July!! Goals: 1) Hopefully loose some weight or at the very least not gain.
2) Keep on Keto and don't fall off the wagon in this very busy month!

Hi, guys. I thought I could do Keto without all of the logging, but I haven't been as successful lately. My keto stix and Precision Xtra are both registering ketones, but I am not losing lately. I guess it is too much cream in my coffee, too many nuts, and too much cheese? Anyway, I am going back to logging to hopefully help me tighten things back up.
My July goal is 254.5 lbs. That will make me an even 50 lb loss since starting Keto.

July marks the half-way point for 2019. Not much progress for me to brag about half-way through this year. However, I’m predicting the second half of this year will be better. I’m not going to make any weight goals for July, but I’m going to set a goal that may have a bi-product weight loss. I want July to be the month I lower my blood pressure. Every time I go to the Doctor or Dentist my BP is off the charts and I don’t mean good. (182/110 at Dr. today) I rushed from the parking lot and they took it just after I checked in.
So, starting today I’m going to monitor my BP daily for the month of July. Of course, you can’t make a sick cow well by just weighing the cow. So, I will also try certain things to head me in the direction of lower BP. Cutting down on caffeine, adding better sleep and aerobic exercise are a few ideas I have in mind. I will keep this group informed on my experiment of one during July, and will also gladly take any advice about how to lower BP, short of taking drugs.

@stormywxs288 Good luck in July. You've stuck with this for a long time and like me have gone up a bit but you're still checking in and hanging on in there. That's certainly a positive. Hope the BP comes down.4

July's goal is 155 lbs. This will make me 15 lbs from my goal weight. It seems so obtainable now, unlike in January when I first started and couldn't fathom ever being this close to my goal.

@chiefkays goodness you are lucky, a doctor with some idea of what to do about loosing weight! I don't know what advice he has given you but for ideas for food and cooking then look at the recipes on the Diet Doctor site. also there's lots of advice in this Challenge but mainly in the discussions below the announcements. There are a lot of people there with lots of experience and wisdom about Keto so be sure to ask any questions you need, and good luck.2
