    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under

    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes my Tuesday night Zumba class! After a year I’ve finally got the moves down so I can focus more on arms and technique and really pushing through - it’s too easy in Zumba to baby step your way through it I’m always sweating in the end!
    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes even had enough extra for a McDs ice cream cone tonight!
    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes... lately I’ve felt very hungry and physically off — wondering if I’m cutting to far under my calorie goal each day. It’s making the scale move but just feeling a little off. Anyone ever get sluggish like that? MFP hasn’t said I’m too far under calorie intake yet but the tummy is almost always grumbly 😂

    @Intrinsicat
    I had to up my daily calories as I got thinner (and exercised more). I lost my 75 lbs over about 3 years. 1.5 years to get head in game, then 4 lbs per month 6 months the 3 lbs for a few months, then 2 etc. Eased into maintenance. I knew if I was hungry all the time I would not be able to maintain.

    Lack of sleep or lack of water or large dessert without a meal will trigger my hunger.

    (Veggies & almonds with water on the drive home saved us!) Yay!

    Willpower article is great.

    It takes very little willpower IF you have a Big Why. A Compelling Reason why you want to be thinner/healthier.

    Then you use that Big Why motivate to you to identify healthy habits & practice them. Habits ARE the answer along with self-honesty.

    Not sure how long you've been counting cals or changing meal plans etc. For me the first 3 weeks I was literally starving as I got close to meal time. Plus I had a headache for 3 weeks. Suddenly it went away. I think as the body gets rid of sugars and or carbs etc. it goes through a detox. Today I'm eating the same and no excessive hunger in between meals and no headaches. I added in lots of water at that time too. Hope that helps

    @Ketch_22, thanks! Being a pedestrian really helps. I get a bunch of those steps walking to and from work every day, and I typically walk during my lunch break as well. If something is within an hour's radius of me, I will probably try to walk there (and this weekend, I walked to something that was 1:45 away because the weather was nice (albeit hot) and I could). I also play Pokemon Go and now Wizards Unite, and that encourages me to walk too!
