I want to take a minute to show my appreciation to @RangerRickL for his dedication to this group. I was a part of this group 3 years ago for a long time(can't remember hos long..lol ) It was to my delight when I cam back to MFP and found this group still going! Thank you so much Rick, I am happy to be back!

Can’t believe it’s been 31 days already! I had no idea I could actually get through this. It’s so cliche but I really couldn’t have done that without this platform !
3 things I’ve learned during this months challenge:
1) “motivation” isn’t the only answer when things go south, it’s the whole package of sleep, stress and timing etc which also leads to heavier and balance life style overall. Thanks for the post @RangerRickL shared a while ago. Now I pay more attention to quality of my rest time.
2) Tracking is everything! Even it’s a “off day” from the diet program, even you know today you are going to be over the budget, track everything! Most of us have a moment where we lie to ourselves and if we don’t track, we wouldn’t know how much over the budget l, and so we wouldn’t feel bad. Track on the off day is way braver and take more courage ! And, even it is over, at least you know how much over, tracking almost makes you eat less, so you always end up better off.
3) people care ! This is a digital community found by a bunch of strangers who probably use fake names 😂 . I am touched how people actually care and the compassion is really helping specially in moments of weakness.11 -

Congrats to everyone!! Taking back your health is a major commitment and I'm so happy to be on this journey with all of you!! A lot of us don't get the support from our friends and family so this is a great "fit family" to be involved. I'm so thankful for @RangerRickL and every member here.9 -

No Winners' Circle for me this month, as I got seven pass days while away for the wedding. Kept up exercise but ate way too much food. (I definitely wanted to relax and enjoy myself, but I'm afraid I treated those pass days as way more of a free-for-all than I should have.) I'm back on track this week, and am heading into August ready to get back into the Winners' Circle.

congrats to all in the winners circle...not an easy task for sure! I did this challenge two years ago for the summer months and made it to the circle once. I'm hoping to make it there again in Aug.

Strength training class was hard today but I hung in there. Another Wednesday Running the local farmers market kept me on my feet most of the day. A little too far under on calories but I needed a good deficit day.4 -

Two walks today...one midday walk with Annie for 35 minutes when the bugs and heat were both unwelcome. Second 1 hour walk this evening with my boyfriend. Ending the month with a final pass day as tracking was incomplete. Looking forward to August!3 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under by the tiniest bit. I let myself indulge a bit today since it was the last day of the month and I had a Pass Day to spare.
