I wrote a long heartfelt post and then the dang app glitched, and I lost it :grimace:

Total Loss for July: 11.8 lbs (pretty awesome considering I restarted in the last week of July!)

I'm sorry you lost your post due to a computer glitch. However, short or long post, I'm so glad to see you back here and I know I'm not the only one. BTW great start, 11.8 lbs in a short time. Looking forward to your next heartfelt post :)

    Good morning all!

@stormywxs288 , your phrase "keto lite version" really resonated with me this morning.

I’ve been on keto lite for well over a year now. I keep using events and circumstances as excuses to delay what I know I need to do to return to a healthy weight and gain back the Non-Scale Victories (NSVs) I enjoyed when I adhered closer to a keto Way Of Existing (WOE). Oh well, “I’ll start tomorrow” has been my mantra.

I’m glad my keto lite phrase hit a chord with you. I’ll be looking for your posts of NSVs and weight loss as we work towards a better version of the keto WOE. I am also impressed with the over 60 lbs you've lost to date.

@stormywxs288, thanks for your words of encouragement. We can do this!!! Also, I have been "in and out" of these challenges for several months, and I always enjoy when you change your profile pictures. Cute shirts! Do you have a source for these, or do you have someone who makes them just for you?

I knew it was bound to happen because "weightloss is not linear." Still. Makes ya sigh a bit. Oh well. Keep on Ketoing on...

I stated last week I had been inspired by this group to return to a better version of keto than I had been practicing for the last year. Had a good first week in August. Modest weight loss 3.4 lbs. I’ve been accused of being the eternal optimist by many, so take what I say with that in mind. In just one week of adhering to a more keto true Way of Existing (WOE) some Non-Scale Victories (NSVs) have returned.

I can feel a fog lifting from my brain. My mind has picked up pace and my memory is sharper. My near 70-year-old skin stopped the summer dry scaling I usually fight with and my joints don’t hurt from the moment I wake up. I feel better about myself for following a WOE I know brings on these NSVs. I’ve started my way back to a keto WOE that suits me.

The keto angel on my shoulder won the battle over the keto devil on my other shoulder this week. With the continued help and support of this group I will adhere closer to a keto WOE that brings on more weight loss and NSVs each week.
