@Janet. Had to laugh. I did a 10 K once and came in 15th out of 50 in my age group. The next year I trained hard and thought I would go top 10 since I jumped age groups. I finished 20th out of 25. There’s no telling. 😊1

I took first in my age group in a local 5k once. All the fast girls stayed home.2 -

Sorry for being MIA. I have so much work that I am catching up....cutting grass at three locations, weeding and still mulching, veggie tending, and my big Garden in the Park is this Saturday. On top of that the roofers who said they would be doing our house in June have finally caught up and we are getting our roof Put on Monday. And my carpal tunnel and trigger thumb are really flaring up.
@Dean: I never grow tired of your photos. We have a gal that is out every morning and evening taking photos and they are gorgeous. She has had her own showing at a gallery just from her nature photos.
@Just_Ceci: I will have to look up the PA bike event and try that one.
@Dave: Congrats on leading a successful event. What a wonderful honor for you and fun to boot!
@Kar: I am sorry about your trainer moving on. Look at it in a different way. You may end up with someone absolutely fabulous, who inspires you in a much different way and breathes new life in you. I use to dread change, but found how stagnant I became without it and how much I learn from doing something different. I get the weight loss thing; but you know enough now to know how important routine is. It is part of your makeup. My injury sidelined me for so long, but my knees have no pain, no more catching and giving out; and I am doing well being back to routine again because of all I had done prior to it. I know you will do great! Have faith in who you are!
Aug 6-12: Adding 75 miles of biking 35 miles, Galloway 10 miles and walking 30 miles.
TTD: 125.4
