I did not weight last week because of family visiting and I had fallen off the wagon. Now back on track, but boy restarting a true keto diet is HARD!

Ahh don't you hate it when you weigh yourself midweek and see a lower weight then you get all excited for Sundays weigh-in only to be disappointed and see a much higher number. I feel like I sabotaged myself by not being as strict after seeing the mid week weight number. Think I'll just stop peeking and wait until Sunday only.

This week had so many increases, but the weekly average was slightly below last week. I was tempted to give it all up out of frustration, but I managed to stay on track for a weekend with a family birthday! We have a camping trip at the coast this weekend, so we'll see what happens with fish and chips...2 -

I'm a stress eater, but I know the best way to manage my stress is eating healthy, limiting alcohol & following an exercise program. I lost 30 pounds last summer doing that but gained most of it back this past spring due to stress induced binge eating/drinking. Recommitting to a better, healthier, happier me! I have followed a low-carb and/or gluten-free way of eating in the past, but this is my 1st time trying Keto.

Ugh!! It takes a couple to days to recover from driving 24 hrs in 3 days. I love my family, but it's a long drive and flights are so expensive. I need them to move to a popular destination, so i can catch the $59 want to get away flight
Well enough of complaining, I had a great time with my nephew & niece and it was worth it. Now, to work in the extra lb that i brought back with me.2 -

I stayed active this week but TTOM was present and it was brutal. Bloated, retaining water, and craving every carb I could possibly think of. Surprisingly I didn't cave in and I've now been in ketosis for one month. Pretty disappointed with my weight loss for one month of keto compared to other people's stories but I'm just going to keep trucking because inches are moving.
Made a goal to get in 3 rides on the Peloton and I was able to get in 4 plus taking my little one on several walks.
My IF is still 12:12; I can't consistently go 16:8 because of my lack of sleep and crazy schedule. Does anyone have any tricks or tips they've used to get onto 16:8 with unpredictable sleep and wake times?2 -

It's not hard, people do a variety of things as you will see so some put their start weight (SW and a date) Current Weight (CW) goal can be added or not as you feel like. Sometimes we put a month goal or a long term one, it doesn't matter, it's not written in stone and there is no problem about changing it! Then weigh and post your weight each Sunday or when you have access to a scale!

Week one and just under half a stone. Think it could have been better if the white wine I had hadn’t stalled it. I didn’t know alcohol was having such a big impact on my weight. Also got my husband on board so hopefully it will be easier.

08/04: Away on vacation & cheating hard.
08/11: 188.0 This isn’t as bad as it could have been. I was away on vacation cheating for a week, on top of that, this is a new scale, AND it’s that TOM right now. So I’m actually thrilled that I only popped up 4.5lbs! I’m confident I’ll lose most of it this week as it is probably mainly bloating.
08/18: 186.0 Yay! Headed back in the right direction

This week has been extremely stressful at work, and I don't eat well when I am stressed.
I'm starting again to log my food so hopefully I'll have a better week. And I'm doing a meal prep day, which should also help! I don't see how I'm going to reach my August goal but I'm aiming for a revised GW of 160.

Found a new passion to ease into working out. I love stand up paddle boarding (SUP). Spent lots of time on the water this weekend and my body felt great...lots of energy to paddle for hours. I don't think I could have done this when I was carrying extra weight.
