Met up with several friends today, English and French, and went to a Classical concert.
If you wonder why I'm posting some of my social and cultural activities, it's because they are vital to my mental health and make me happy. When I'm not happy, I sink into a dip, eat comfort food, drink too much, don't exercise and read only escapist books. I need all four elements: healthy food, exercise, friends and a bit of soul stimulation. I'm doing and feeling great this month!5 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes! Took a half day at work for a dr appt, walked/danced for an hour and a half on the treadmill to some dance videos on YouTube with the rest of my afternoon. Fun fun!
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No, fiancé wanted Chinese and even getting the steamed rice and shrimp with a side of garlic sauce takes me over, because I ate lunch planning for grilled salmon and asparagus

Yes x 3 for me. Exercise was strength training in the morning and 18 holes of golf in the afternoon. Our foursome played so poorly that all we could do was giggle. Definitely a happy Fri-yay for me.3

Well, I'm out for the WC this month. Not doing well at all. Too many restaurants this week. Not enough exercise. Both led to a gain this week. Trying to regroup and get my head back in the game.
I've scheduled next week with gym time on the schedule. Thankfully I work flexible hours so can arrange to be able to attend the water aerobics class at the new gym.6 -
