I am back from my absence. My wife has been home since Friday night and all the tests came back negative. Didn’t do so great at eating during those days. Hospital food is terrible and quick options near the hospital were fast food and pizza. I am sure I will have a terrible weight this week but just know I am getting back on track.
@erikNJ So excited you are still with us and even more excited that your wife’s tests came back negative. I was concerned when I didn’t see you posting this weekend. Your weight this week will just be an indication that you had higher priorities this past weekend which is perfectly normal and part of LIFE. We know you will get back on track quickly!0 -

@energyseeker I use google sheets on my phone(from the plag store). Usually I open the mobile version of MFP and can open the spreadsheet just clicking the link and it opens in my sheets app... I know that when I use the MFP app, the link will open within MFP, and my phone gives me issues trying to open with sheets from here... I would maybe ask if @pkg1998 has a suggestion on how to somehow save the link? You could also copy/paste into web browser, and it should save it in your memory on your phone.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16wLt6EfpKpkMVjCS1-pISRpWUfbYXdX3usRTfIN2YnI/edit?usp=drivesdk is the link.
Sorry I am rambling... I am about to go to bed and am tired!
@energyseeker I have google sheets on my iPad which is where I log into MFP too. When I open sheets is brings up a list of my recent spreadsheets which includes the challenge sheet and the official biggest loser sheet.0 -
Week 1 weigh in:

This is random, but on Friday at my work picnic I had fruit salad, and it had dragon fruit. I wasn't terribly thrilled with it because the texture was weird and it had almost no flavor... I can gladly say it is something "exotic" that I will never go out of my way for haha.
I finally got the puppy to the dog park today. The one closest to me is completely wooded, and he loved it! There was only one other dog there and Dillon loved running around with him! It was a nice short hike through the woods to get there, and some trails in the fenced in park! The woman with the other dog was telling me about some dog friendly hiking trails near me, and now I have some places to check out!
@cmhubbard92
I've been curious about the dragon fruit. That sucks that it was a disappointment.
The puppy is super cute and I'm glad that puppy park worked out and he had fun.

I see there are new challenges but I have to catch up on dozens of posts so I will get there tomorrow hopefully.
Welcome all new teammates.
@erikNJ Glad to see you back. That's great that your wife is back home too. I hope she is doing well. I know that sometimes even though that it is great for tests to come back negative it can leave you wondering what's really going on and leave things untreated. I hope that is not the case.
That is an awesome start to the week.0 -

@cmhubbard92 Your puppy certainly is getting your activity level up even higher than it was. I’m sure he enjoys getting out and running around. I’m looking forward to the weather being cool enough here to be able to do some outdoor activities. Just too hot for me and the dog.
@pkg1998 he definitely is! The trail I want to take him to is called Airline Trail, and it stretches about 50 miles throughout the state. From what I have heard, it is a trail that is pretty much the path of old railway tracks that have been removed. And the neat thing is each town has a separate entry point to the trail, so we can pretty much start wherever! He is loving the outdoors. Eventually we may install a fence around our backyard for a couple reasons-mainly for the pup, and secondly to keep the nosy neighbor in her own yard(she came over into our backyard while I was walking him and started asking me a million questions, and I don't like people walking up to me, especially in my backyard...). We're lucky right now, the weather is starting to get cooler. I believe today will be a high of 70. I'm almost to the point where I can leave the window open at night instead of having the air going! This next week the temps are supposed to drop more!1 -

Forgot to introduce myself...I am Heather. I am married, have two teenagers and work full time. I have been in the challenge since last November or December (I think). My journey has been slow and steady. I keep reminding myself it is a marathon not a sprint. I love to walk to clear my mind. The last couple of years have been challenging for me emotionally with my mother being sick and then ultimately losing her. I had spent so much time caring for her, I let my own needs take a back seat and ate my stress away. The last year has helped me get back on track and this group has helped keep me accountable. The last month has been especially great. I need to be more active on here because I know how helpful the support is. Hopefully TBBT has a great October. Good luck team!4

Tracked, at, lots of walking today with 10 minute of Tae-bo. My great news: no alcohol and I ate 2 salads today, which left me space for m&ms My uhhhh news: why did the face of my fitbit watch not only fall on the floor, but I stepped on it. Le sigh. Thinking of replacing it as it's so cracked but might just let it go, as while I enjoy it, I hate wearing it 5-6 days a week consistently. We'll see. I kept the same motivation though for walking today even though there was no fitbit tracking.

@mirendybryant You have my sympathy for your loss. It is never easy to lose someone even if it’s expected. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.0 -

@Calli1616 Could you please explain “Zuzka Light Bunny Slope w/o 3”? Sounds very interesting and confusing0
