Hi everyone. I think it would be nice to list a couple of goals for the month. They can be non-weight ones also.

I want to get out of the 140's and stay out!

I am so inflexible. So I am going to begin to stretch some ever day.

I want to get to or below 132.2 which was my original 60 loss goal. I held it for a long time...then things happened.

I want to get back to walking 5 mile in 75 mins and back to where I was w/our trainer a year ago.

Nice goals Chris! I am in your corner. <3

141.2 this morning. I worked until after 7 tonight. So now I am relaxing. We signed for the property today.

189.2 this morning. The bump I expected from vacation. My goal is to be out of the 180s by the end of the month. My other goal is to work out at least 6 days a week. On days I don’t have tennis I will be walking. Trying to get to 4 miles in 60 minutes. I need the second goal in order to reach the first. Good luck to everyone.

Shelley - congrats on the property.

Headed to the park. Will check in later.

Kathy love that you are using one goal to reach another! If my DH had not gotten me this fitbit I would still be at 150 something. I love being able to set it for a deficit amount of calories each day.

141.2 this morning. I find that it is getting slower between losts now. I hang out in the same weight before suddenly dropping a few ounces of pound. Going in the right direction so all is good.

135.0 at 4:00 this morning. We walked 3.03 miles in 59 mins and I worked w/our trainer for 60 mins. Hope tomorrow is down...down...down...okay just one down would make me happy.

136.0 at 4:00 this morning. Somehow I knew yesterday wasn't real. Saturday will be the real tell. No 4:00 a.m. for me! 3.05 miles this morning in 60 mins. Walking w/DDD later.

Shelley, getting out of bed at 4:00 a.m. is killer. No walking is a REST DAY!!!!!!! Working out w/our trainer isn't as hard as 4:00 a.m. is. Every weekday we walk, I roll outta bed thinking of excuses why we should sleep in. PLUS... I jammed my left little toe Tuesday morning. It is black and blue and is crazy sore. Putting it in walking shoes is murder. 2019 has not been my year... :s

Chris that is a coincidence! I slammed my toe into a set of wooden steps and it is killing me walking also! Darn thing. Glad you are able to sleep in some Saturday. It will be a splurge day for me.

Karen I hope you are feeling a little better today.

141 even this morning. I am happy with it.

    Morning Ladies!

181.4 this morning...woo hoo! So close to the 170s!!

I think I've mentioned I've been doing intermittent fasting slowly working my way up to longer periods. Yesterday I was able to do a 24-hour fast which, believe it or not was really not that hard. I was hungry at about 16 hours but then exercised and the hunger went away. My goal for the month of October is to do one meal a day at least 3 days each week. So basically a 24 hour fast 3 days a week. This may be a particularly challenging because I have a trip to Hungary in about a week. My body will already be out of whack with the time zone changes but let's see how I do :-)

I have all of these wonderful dresses that are fall and winter appropriate and I'm looking forward to losing a couple more pounds to feel more comfortable in them. I can wear them now but they just don't feel quite right.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!

186.2 this morning. The extra workouts are paying off. Today will be a rest day after both a walk and tennis yesterday. I have a tennis match Sunday.

Karen - you’re so close to the 170s...it’s coming! I have a dress that I want to wear on our next vacation and I hope it will fit comfortably in November. I will post a picture when I’m able to wear it. It’s yellow and white...perfect for a beach vacation.

Shelley and Chris- watch those toes...nothing hurts more than unexpectedly banging them! Coincidentally, I bumped my toe against a chair leg the other night. Is it age? ;)

    Happy weekend!

Kathy I had to hit the disagree button. It so is not our age. Nopey nope nope! Heck I broke one while playing basketball in grade school! :s But I do have to say they sure hurt. Looking forward to the dress photo. I have not bought a dress in around 15 years.

Karen glad to hear from you. Have a great trip to Hungary. And Kathy is right. You are almost out of the 180's! Awesome.

140.6 this morning. Almost ready to go into the 130's. So excited. Just walking and watching my calories. I only skip a meal if I am saving the calories for going out or something like that.

I broke this same toe when I was in my early 20's. I hit the corner of a shower stall...watched my little toe slowly move from straight out to the side of my foot. Problem #1 finding the nearest hospital as we were far, far from home. Problem #2 getting the foot...w/the sideways toe...into a sock then into a boot that laced up to my knee. Problem #3 riding on a motorcycle w/a broken toe to the hospital. Funny thing was that it didn't hurt until we were at the hospital, however there was a gunshot victim ahead of us and we had to wait. Pain set in and it was awful! It was broken and dislocated. UGH!

135.6 this morning at 5:30. REST DAY! We had Ronan this morning. He's leaving for D'land tonight...oh, his parents are going w/him. We won't see him until next Friday. Don't know if my heart can handle that.

    180.6 this morning....come on 179!!!

Chris - hope your toe feels better and oh my goodness you have some stories. Yeah I've been to the heck out of my toes over the years to that little pinky toe oh Lord!

Kathy - getting into that special dress is a great gold :-)

So glad to be here at the weekend. Sadly have a funeral to go to this morning for my husband's Uncle. He was a bit of an odd duck and not quite close to people...but sad.

To-do list with many other things as well! Looking forward to this fall weekend!

185.6 this morning. Yesterday was a rest day. I have a match tomorrow so not sure what I will do today. We’re in first place and playing one of the second place teams. I’m sure it will be a battle! I need to be well rested and save the legs. I may get on the recumbent for 30 minutes.

I used to make chicken bean soup and have it for lunch every day at work for the longest time. Ah, memories!

135.8 this morning at 6:00. Had a bunch of salt today. I can already feel it in my face...hope I'm not way up tomorrow. We walked then went over to DDD's to feed her cat this morning. Then reading this afternoon. A very nice Sunday!

Thanks everyone. We had so much fun. First family and friends day on the property. First fire in our new pit. First time having a meal there. Son-in law split wood for the first time. It was actually a beautiful day. Lots of sun shining down on us. Didn't get food until the last half hour. I roasted a huge marshmallow. Walked the dogs today. I have some calories to work off :# .

Today I took a lot of cuttings from my fuchsia plants. Then potted up 30 of them. Hoping they do well.

Karen I agree it is always sad to lose a family member even when they are not well known. I feel I would have regrets that I didn't find a way to reach out more. I am mushy I know. Hope your soup turns out delicious.

Kathy knock them dead. I know you will play your best. B)

Chris I hope that salt was worth it. Greasy food does really bad things to my gut! But I still have some at times.

There is a trial this week. I probably won't get many steps in.

The bean soup is wonderful! I know my Bella will love it.

Dermatologist check up during lunch. I had skin cancer a few years back...so coming back for my annual checkup. Hope all turns out ok.

Will have to figure out exercise tonight...maybe I can corral Bella to join me.

Shelley so glad you had a great time on your new property.

Karen I hope your doc appt goes well.

136.8 this morning at 7:00. Rest Day. My toe is very angry. Worked out w/trainer's sister for 60+ mins. She's a talker. Our trainer is in Hawaii w/her DH. Going to read for the rest of the afternoon.

    Wow! Karen, that's great!

    You'll get there, Kathy.

Shelley, you could get a wireless ear piece and listen to a good book on your phone that is in your pocket while the judge is hammering away at his bench. That would keep you awake.

136.0 this morning at 6:30. Walked w/Bean this morning. Now going to DDD's to medicate one of her cats. Then I have a book to finish.

Karen congratulations! Oh happy day! You got this! :)

Kathy you will be next. I am so happy for your progress. <3

Chris remember, I am against coming into this cell phone age. So no book reading on the job. Nice to hear you are walking with Bean more again. Are you ever getting your own? You used to want one.

140 this morning. Trial is over. Found not guilty on 2 counts. Time served on the 3rd. Busy day tomorrow. Hope I can get in some steps.
