@anaconda469: You are one bad @$$ rider girl! Way to go!
@Janet: Welcome back to the states. How was your marathon?
@Dean: Molly is adorable. But 17 is too much for me to deal with! Stay warm.
Sorry to be off here so much. My dad stood for two rounds of 3.5 minutes in his Lumex transporter today. Mid September he could not stand at all. Progress..l.slow but steady. My nephew ran his first 100k trail run this Saturday and Sunday. That is over 60 miles and he did it in 14 hrs and 14 minutes. Our temperatures dipped Saturday to the 30’s and many of the 100 mile runners had hypothermia around miles 80 and 90.
Oct. 9-14: Adding 65 miles of walking 40 miles and and 15 cycling and 10 running. I am getting out early to do some runs.
TTD: 145 miles

Great pic anaconda!!!
@clepant, glad your papa is getting stronger!!
Today I walked with Georgie 3.5 miles & then rode the ex bike 11 miles. A question for you all. Does life EVER slow down?? Oh yeah! When we are dead!!!
My husband & I are both trashed & in NEED of some down time but not happening for awhile. After appointments in the city tomorrow we head back & start working on hemp harvest. Yay more work!

@anaconda469: You are one amazing MY@$$ rider!! Looks like you had an awesome time with your son
@Janet: Welcome home. Though it sounds like you’ve come back to some gruesome weather. How was your marathon? My team mates did well - one of them got Chicago qualifying - she’s jubilant. Then they did the Palma Half this weekend 30+C - a bit warmer than Berlin!
@Dean: Molly is adorable. I’m sorry you’ve had some difficult cases - you’re a good man, and those precious pets are lucky to have you in their lives.
@clepant : it’s good to read that your Dad is improving. Being home, in a safe environment, will be playing its part.
Edited to correct predictive .... grrr0 -
@anaconda469: What a great photo of your son and you.
Oct 15: I hauled my butt yesterday to the point that my arthritic ankle started hurting again. Got to make sure I have my orthotics in my shoes.
Walked 7 miles and cycled 3 miles for a total of 10

Gotta get rid of this head cold or it‘s going to be a really long weekend. 48 hour shifts on cold medication isn‘t my idea of fun.1

Adding 3.7 miles. Off this week and doing a lot of appointments, today was dental implant surgery for me in the morning, then taking my cat to the vet in the afternoon. First time taking her out since I took her to the vet the first week I adopted her (tomorrow is her Gotcha Day 1 year with me). I think her visit was more traumatic for me than my own. But after two hours behind the couch, she's running around chasing the new toy I bought her yesterday that she wasn't interested in before.
