Wed the 23rd was a day from HELL! I was BUSY from before the sun came up to after dark AND NO I did not have time to add miles or do a workout! Thursday my son's girlfriend & I walked 5 miles. 1.5 miles from home a cat found us & followed us home. She belongs to someone cuz she is use to house living! Friday the 25th we spent hours walking carrying cut hemp & loading it onto flatbed trailers. Accumulated 2 miles for sure! And today was a Full Body Workout, laundry, house cleaning & fixing dinner for 6 hunters! A good day!!

Great pictures, Dave.
I'm back in California checking on my mom. Hope I'll get some miles in tomorrow to kick the jet lag.0 -

@anaconda469 - I am so intrigued by the idea of ‘citizen geologists’
About 25 years ago I started on my journey to my PhD in Geology, Major Seismology Minor Valcanology. After a few years my mother had a crippling stroke and my days at university were done. I wound up with a divorce, and crippled parent that needed care so I gave up my studies. But I never gave up my passion for Geology. So I kept studying, following the science and got text books and followed lectures for over 20 years. I found out I can apply what I have continued to learn to get access to loads of science studies through universities and get a nifty certificate. The reason I am doing this is there is some much crap about the Cascadia Subduction Zone and the big one that will completely wipe out the PNW that I now have access to major science studies, which dispels the garbage information that is out there. As a citizen Geologist I can follow the science and prepare me, my family, my friends properly. It won't be my Doctorate, but it will be an accomplishment and maybe save some lives.4 -
